Good protection for outdoor furniture.
Been working great on my patio set against sun, and the rain. Water bead off of the furniture now.

Worked well
It worked well and was super easy and convenient to use. I put it all over my egg chairs, the Wicker and cushions. It seemed to keep them a lot cleaner than before I put it on. It didn't leave any weird residue or film on them either. Dried quickly too. It didn't leave any color or streaks on the fabric either.

Scotchguard
This stuff works amazingly well. We used it to coat our grill cover, outdoor patio umbrella, 4-wheeler cover, and rider mower cover. That was over a year ago, and they are all holding up well. No leaks in anything we used it on. Has a bit of an odor when it is first applied but goes away within a day.We made sure everything was cleaned well before using it.

Causes white canvas to yellow
I’m bummed. I bought this to use on my mostly white canvas golf bag and leather and pleather headcovers. I’m giving a few starts because it seemed to work well in the pleather items, and to some the degree the leather ones, but when I used it my smaller ‘Sunday Bag’ bag it caused an immediate yellowing on the white part. Fortunately, I had read the instructions first and it said that if this happens to immediately ‘scrub at it’ with rubbing alcohol. (They said wipe, but it took some serious scrubbing and very liberal application of, and repeated drenching of 90 proof rubbing alcohol to get the yellow part back to ‘almost-normal’). I’m making peace with it because I’m VERY glad that I tried it on the smaller bag before my big bag. (The almost all white one). I’m also trying to console my disappointment in the expensive by reminding myself that if I ever where to ‘drop mud’ on any of the covers that the application of this would probably protect them. However, all in all I wish I had just spot wiped/washed things as I may have needed because my experience with this was not what I had hoped. Again, I’m glad that they had instructions on the bottle for what to do if the yellow did happen, but I would have preferred to have realized that it was a possibility before I bought it.

Wine Spills? No Problem!
Scotchgard Sun and Water Shield is nothing short of a miracle for anyone with outdoor furniture. I recently applied it to our new, expensive outdoor couches without mentioning it to my wife, hoping to protect them from the elements. Little did I know it would save the day in a much bigger way.A few weeks after treating the cushions, disaster struck—a glass of wine spilled all over one of them. My wife was on the verge of a panic attack, envisioning a permanent stain on our pristine furniture. But I remembered the Scotchgard treatment and decided to put it to the test.I quickly stood the cushion on its side, resisting the urge to wipe the spill. Instead, I poured water over the wine-stained area. To our amazement, the water washed the wine right off, leaving no trace behind. Our very expensive new furniture was saved, and there wasn't a single drop of wine or stain left.My wife, unaware of my secret Scotchgard application, went from scared to overjoyed in minutes. She marveled at the miraculous recovery of our cushion, and I got to bask in the glory of being the hero of the day. If you have outdoor furniture and want to protect it from spills, Scotchgard is a must-have. It's like having a protective force field for your cushions!
