Not going to get too deep a dive on these bulbs. So here's the skinny. They fit correctly. They illuminate as described. They work on a dimmer switch. Installed 6 of them in a bathroom quite a while ago and haven't replaced any. SUMMARY: They look and perform exactly as you would expect. Seem to last and of be of good quality. Would definitely buy again.

It’s a good replacement for one continuous filament 8.9” clear light bulb which is very hard to find. Looks good in a clear transparent glass shade, warm white color, cool to the touch and doesn’t flicker works great on a dimmer. I’m pleased I found these lightbulbs.

Purchased for a job after not being able to source this style bulb locally. The customer was very satisfied with them.

-These bulb fill our long fixtures on our porch as you can see in the picture below. That standard shaped lightbulb that came with the fixture made it look stupid. -it dims really well. I should say perfectly, as far as I can tell. In the video, you can see that you can dim the bulb down to extremely low levels before it turns off. That is new to my lomg experience led bulbs -The bulb has an internal support which can cast a shadow as you can see in the close-up. We have frosted glass which hides most of it. I don't think that anyone notice it in unless they're looking for it, in real life. If I cared more, I would try twisting the bulb a bit harder to rotate the shadow out of my line of sight. -they do sell a version that is frosted that will most likely hide that shadow completely. If my glass was clear, I would be tempted. -this is rated at 2700° kelvin. That is wrong; it's much closer to 3700° Kelvin. But it looks good on our porch so I'm not gonna send it back - FYI, the style bulb is available in 7.3", 8.9" and 11.8"

It's hard to find frost LED bulbs. It is especially hard to find T10 thru T30 tube shaped bulbs. I needed one for a specific purpouse and open filament, whether incandescent or LED, would not have the right effect. I was skeptical that these would actually be frost or just a plastic liner wound around inside the bulb between the lighting elements and the inner wall of the glass tube. THIS is a true frost bulb. You cannot see the individual LED elements within; no spots of more light and less light. The only 'shadow' that I can see must be a this wire internal support for the lighting element at the end of the bulb. Not reallynoticeable, unless you are looking for it. Just what I needed.

I have been searching for years for long, vertical LED bulbs to put in our garage light fixtures. These fit nicely and are quite bright. Be aware that they are uncomfortable to look at directly. I am not too concerned about that because they are simply outside of the garage, but if they will be located in areas where people would be sitting often and they may be in regular eyesight, it may be beneficial to either choose the frosted bulbs or a frosted shade to reduce the harshness of the bright light. Otherwise, they look great and I hope they last a long time through the seasons!

**Update** After using these for a year or so, they started flickering. And while they were brighter than the previous bulbs, they weren't the 2700K color temperature advertised. They would dim down, but the flickering increased the lower I went. We recently decided to change out the dimmer switches and went with on/off, not dimmers. That made a world of difference. The bulbs are nice and bright now. They never got that bright when they were on dimmer switches, even if the dimmers were all the way up. And no flickering at all. So while the engineers may have tried to make these dimmable, they didn't do a great job. But if you're putting these on on/off switches, you'll be happy. ------ Previous review ------ We needed some of these tubular shaped bulbs for some bathroom fixtures. The ones we had at the time didn't provide enough light and had an antique, yellowish, hue. These new bulbs are much brighter, and all worked fine (no duds).
