Well made, very efficient
Bought this for a safe. Surpringly efficient. For the price, you've got a permanent rechargeable solution to controlling humidity within a confined space. And an added bonus, lifetime warranty, as well as a heating dock to quick drying the cylinders. Very happy I bought this. This will be one of 4 solutions I've tried and thus far blows all else away. This one is staying! Good idea to pair this with a hygrometer.

Pretty Good Product
These work quite well actually. The product is built very good and seems like it will last for a while. There is a heating base that comes with these so when the beads turn from bright orange to black you know that the dehumidifiers are holding max amount of precipitation and it's time to put them on the heating base to dry out and bring the beads back to bright orange. The base has a safety so once you put them on to dry out and the process is complete the base will stop working and not over dry the dehumidifies out, this takes about 30 minutes to run the process completely. I have a 36 pew pew size safe and it keeps my humidity level from 50% to 54% which is perfect from what I'm told. Before I bought these my safe would be all the way up around 65% to 70% and that bis no good. The one issue I have is this. Sometimes I have to dry them out a lot more than I should have to as in 2 time in a week but then sometimes they will go for a month. These need to get dialed in so that it's on a monthly schedule and not weekly. I still recommend these because they do work very well keeping my humidity levels down. If I have to dry them out a little extra once in a while I don't mind. I will be getting more and suggest others to get some.

An Easy and Inexpensive Solution
Only had this in place in my safes for a short period, but if they hold up it will be a great option. Simple to use and recharge, just a couple of hours and its good for werks. Would highly recommend and would defifitely buy again.

works well
So far, so good. They seem to last about 4 or 5 days. The colors are easy to distinguish (black and orange) more so than a different brand that we have been using.

Can't get better!
Alright. I have used DOZENs of different desiccants in my gun safe and here is what I have to say. This this is awesome! Super easy to recharge (just plop it on the base for a few hours. The recharge cycle shuts off on it's own, and has a fan, so it recharges FAST! The desiccant last a very long time. You can get several weeks out of this even in rainy conditions. It is compact, visually appealing (not a huge requirement for me), and does the job extremely well. I have used safe rods (require electricity), over recharge desiccant packs (a pain to recharge), and the ones that you plug directly into the wall (take a long time to recharge. There is no comparing anything to this for small 40 gun safe.

Extremely disappointing performance
When I first received this I had high hopes. All looked to be well constructed and of good quality materials. The drying cartridges seemed large enough for my use. I am using this in a safe, with a door that shuts tightly against a gasket. I am not in a high humidity location, I am in New England. We have had a very wet winter, but that has not raised the humidity for extended periods. I can't say this item doesn't do what it claims, but I find this item to be far overpriced based on its performance and would not recommend it. My problem is with the ability of the cartridges to absorb moisture. I am not sure what type of silica beads the manufacturer used, but they seem to have almost no capacity to absorb moisture. I do not open this safe frequently but the beads in these cartridges turn black in just 2 -3 DAYS in the closed and sealed safe. I have used other devices with silica beads before. These would give me 2 to 4 WEEKS before they needed recharging. If I have to tend these cartridges almost daily they are more of a burden than a benefit.
