I'm really impressed with this camera tripod. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry around, but it doesn't compromise on stability. It feels very durable and sturdy, giving me confidence when using it. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use and adjust, even when supporting a heavy lens. It held its position perfectly. Definitely a great purchase and highly recommended!

Excellent tripod. This is the best product that I have received from Amazon in a long time. It is very high quality and well designed. It is taller than most others, has a hand crank for easy adjustment, has a built in carrying handle, a spacious bag, and numerous mounts for phones and cameras, and has large detachable foot pads. Great product and well worth the price.

I bought this as a mount for a light weight home theater projector. The fact that I need only 3 out of 4 legsections extended to reach 51 inches should tell you this will be a much more stable base than the45 year old all aluminum tripod next to it. The only parts of the Victiv tripod that are aluminum are theleg sections.All the other joints, locks, pivots, stabilizers, and the geared column, are made of a good quality engineered plastic. This is great for light weight, the only drawback I found compared to my ancientaluminum tripod is the center column becomes extremely floppy if you undo the locking thumbscrewmore than a fraction of a turn. You have to have some drag on the column as you raise it to keep it stablecompared to my well machined aluminum tripod's column. This is not a big deal given the moderate price, just something you have to account for when making height adjustments. If I were re-engineering this for Victiv I'd add a wave spring inside the column's lower section to keep the bottom of the movablesection centered.

This is why I love amazon. You find a product like this that compares to equivalent items costing over $200. It's got great height scale and it's sturdy. The quick release works great. All of the adjustments and locks actually snap down tight and hold.Still amazed at the price.Used it for my spotting scope and it's awesome. Used the hook on the bottom to attach a weight to eliminate some of the shaking.

I just got myself this Victiv 74" Camera Tripod, man; it's way nothing close to what I will have expected. The material to be used is excellent, simply because it can be lightweight with great robustness, thus easier to carry anywhere. Feels great for both the DSLR and my cell phone. Extremely versatile—that adjustable height is a bloody game-changer when trying to capture a shot pretty much from any angle really. It's quick to set up, completely hassle-free, and very stable, even on the most uneven of surfaces. I would highly recommend this tripod for anyone looking for a highly reliable yet very affordable solution for photography and videography. Five stars all the way!

This will do everything you will want to do. It is that heavy duty, but it is sturdy enough and is easy to use. Probably not for video cams or rugged use, but those of us who need everyday use it is a great buy.

I tried some of the cheaper tripods and they each just kept getting bent or broken. These are much stronger and more adjustable. They are still very light so not indestructible, but so much better. They also look way more professional than the cheaper versions out there.Ive been using them outdoors for months now with no problems, very nice product and good price.
