I create a lot of flies. I'm in clouser mode now and needed small dumbbell eyes for size 6 and 8. Name brand prices are ridiculous so I tried this style. First, they're machined so the sizing is consistent. I like the ramped center area as it's easier too keep the eyes centered on the hook and the hair material easily centers. Comes in a handy to use plastic container. Overall great value.
