Q: my speakers run on 220 volts, will these speakers work?

I don't know if they will work in your system, but AC current has nothing to do with it. I would have to know a good deal more to answer with certainty. Technically passive loudspeakers do not run on voltage at all. Amplifiers can be 220AC 110AC 9DC 12DC and so on. Amps run on many different sorts of sources of power. Almost all speakers are between 2 and 32 ohms. Most are 8 or 4 ohms. And we are no concerned with voltage, but watts. Most can handle between 20 and 120 watts maximum. Beyond that distorts and can damage speakers. NOW, if you are talking about powered speakers, that is a different matter. They usually require either 110 or 220 volts. Some are switchable. BUT the actual speaker drivers have nothing at all to do with the AC current that runs their built-in amplifiers. The speakers are the same as any other speakers and 110AC or 220AC for the amplifiers just don't matter at all.

Q: What is the recommended low frequency crossover point for these tweeters?

i used them for replacements so the crossover was in place they sound great but i also used them in a system i built but i have a pioneer 850 electronic crossover so i can set them to my music hope this helps but if you buy them they will tell you the frequency that is best

Q: Why are these limited to 18,000hz? These really can’t go to 20,000hz?

I've had tweeters that hit 25000 and they're too tinny for me and not needed in my opinion. I have these tweeters since I blew out one of my Cerwin Vega SL-12 tweeters. These sound much better than the stock Cerwin Vega tweeters and have a great power rating. Don't worry about the 18000 frequency response, these are perfect for most music styles. I'm pushing my Cerwin Vega SL-12 speakers with a external Crown 1502 amplifier and I have not blown three up yet. The amp pushes 300w pure power at 8 ohms per speaker. 2 channel.
