Intricate
I read this alongside the audio which was great. There are background sound effects. The actor who played Newt is the narrator. The illustrations are amazing. They look like lithographs. The descriptions short yet detailed tidbits of all kinds of creatures. I enjoyed this book very much!

I love this book
I have a Benn a Harry Potter, Wizarding world fan, since the very first book came out in 1997. I was Five a the time. Then the first movie in 2001, I was 9, the last book in 2007, I had just turned 15, the the final movie in 2011, I was 19. The the first Fantastic Beasts and where to find them movie came and fell in love all over agoin with the magic of this magnificent world JK Rowling created. This new version of fantastic beast book, far more ranged than the original in 2001, yes I had it until it got destroyed with time and unfortunate wather conditions. Now i have this one, with a lot more information on magical Creatures. I now have a list of theme for when Hogwarts Legacy Come for PS4 in April, I'll be ready to care for them when they come. It's a must have for all over wizarding world fans.

Cute book
Was a cute read! I personally just mainly love the series and all of the extras don’t really get me like the original series does! But great for Harry Potter lover!

Breathtakingly entertaining
One of the pure joys of my reading/listening time recently has been the audiobook of J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them narrated by Newt Scamander himself, Eddie Redmayne. This was a wonderful surprise – I really wasn’t expecting it to be as entertaining as it was. This is a “revised edition” film tie-in, to include an additional footnote by Scamander commenting on the events of the film and implying more editions will be released as more Fantastic Beasts films are released. It certainly whetted my appetite for more of Mr Scamander’s adventures. The audio edition is described as enhanced for audio with original sound design. This audiobook includes “audio footnotes” which have been treated with a sound effect to differentiate them from the main narration. These includes very subtle sound effects of the various creatures about which Scamander is talking, which really added a lot to the listening experience. What I hadn’t expected was just how funny it would be. I regularly found myself laughing out loud. Who knew that the Loch Ness Monster was actually a publicity hungry kelpie? I suspect this will be a go-to book to put a smile on my face for a long time to come.As a bonus, proceeds from the sale of the books go to Rowling’s Lumos charity and also the UK’s Comic Relief. A wonderful listen and definitely worth the five stars I gave it.

shameless cash in…
I read all 3 in this “trilogy” and by far this was the worst to slog through, I realize it was a charitable thing, but I bought and never read the first printing that was a shameless cash in before the “trilogy”

Great book but just know…
I loved this book! I have nothing to complain about and it is retain very informative, but just to clarify it is more of an encyclopedia of Beasts and less of a story. At first I thought I would be reading tale about discovering these beasts. Either way tho it was a really entertaining book. Was a quick and easy read! Highly recommend
