Don’t give up with it!
My podiatrist recommended I order this to help with my Achilles tendinitis. It took a little while to get used to - you have to experiment to get the right tightness. Too tight meant I suffered with calluses on the ball of my foot from the pressure, or I awoke from it being uncomfortable - you need it a lot looser than you’d expect. I have lifted the fabric section to pop the foam block on the Velcro underneath too (optional) and that has also required a little adjustment to get it in the right spot. I was determined to persevere though, even though at first I sometimes had to wake to take it off in the middle of the night. Now I’ve got the straps and the foam block right, it’s great! I sleep with it all night and I don’t even notice it at all any more, in fact it feels weird not to sleep with it on. My Achilles tendinitis has practically gone in about 3 weeks, whereas before using this it was getting worse through no fault of my own - I’m not a runner, I just get tendinitis from everyday walking (work, shopping etc) due to having flat feet and orthotics only help a little. I ordered a size up (Medium, and I’m a UK size 5-5.5) to ensure my toes weren’t near the edge as that would have irritated me, and I have plenty of room. I wouldn’t be without my “robot foot” and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. Don’t give up with it - just make it a lot looser around the foot/ankle!

Absolutely recommend!
Please give this review a thumbs up if you find it helpful!HEARTILY RECOMMEND - Comfortable and adjustable so your foot can be at a slightly higher or lower angle. It’s simply very good. Just got it but it’s brilliant for my sprained ankle. The straps won’t need the Velcro adjusting often as they go over the foot, and then once in place, clips allow you to easily put the boot on/off.There’s about 5mm of tread on the bottom, for light indoor use.Padding is spongy, rivets feel strong, clips are thick and seem good quality.

Pain free at last.
I suffer with plantar fasciitis have done for the past 2 years, as all sufferers know the pain and discomfort can be unbearable to the extent your unable to walk first thing in the morning, after trying everything I could possibly try to alleviate the symptoms including injections I resigned myself to the fact I have to live with it, last resort was trying the foot brace, the thought of this was not good but needs must, wow!! First night I wore it, it did feel a little strange, I got up in the morning put my foot on the floor, no pain, no limping, a miracle, I'm on my 3rd night of wearing the brace to bed each day my foot is getting better, if I have to use this every night for the rest of my life I would just to be pain free in the mornings. I still get an achy heel at the moment towards the end of the day especially when I have been on my feet all day but nothing compared to the pain I have been in, well worth a few restless nights. HIGHLY RECOMMENEDED..

why didn't i get one of these sooner !!!! If you suffer from sore feet in the morning, GET THIS
I've had plantar fasciitis for about 12 months now, cortisone injections, specialist, physio, rollers, socks, you name it i've tried it then a few weeks back Jason Manford was talking about wearing a boot at night to help him so after a quick search on amazon and then a few you tube videos on the products available saw me settle on this one specificallyI've used this for two weeks and every day i wake up i can use my foot properly. It's enabled me to get back to light running and i am soooooooooo happy, if i knew now what the last 12 months would have brought i would have paid triple the amount for this. You do notice it but not enough to stop you sleeping

Absolute game changer for achilles tendonitis
After upping my walking again I was back to feeling like my ankles had fused in the morning - could barely walk down stairs and the pain was horrible until it loosened off. It's bothered me for years in varying degrees - the joys of hypermobility, but it was that bad this time I started looking for anything that would give some relief. And found this.Honestly wasn't getting my hopes up but was desperate to try anything and bought two and oh boy I'm so glad I did. As soon as it was on the immediate comfort was like a hug for your foot. Straps are easily adjustable and also padded. It's lightweight - was surprised at how light it was given that it feels really sturdy too. Was half expecting some clunky thing but very happy that it's not. First night I slept with both on but it was a really warm night and ended up taking them off, however I still noticed my ankles weren't as stiff when I got up. Promising! Been wearing them for almost a week now and the difference has been huge. Almost in happy tears at how pain free huge! I've managed this pain for years and just assumed it was something I'd be living with forever and just wished I'd researched sooner because I now have almost zero pain in the morning and can walk normally (or as normal as it gets for me). It's not gone completely - the achilles tendon is still very tender after maybe 20 minutes of walking, but I'm not in excrutiating pain anymore and that's just after a week. Without a doubt it's the best purchase I've made this year. Oh and bonus points to the seller for the speedy shipping too - arrived on the Saturday and wasn't due until the Monday.

Good for spasticity as well
I wear it because of spasticity in my leg muscles that has my foot pointing down and turning inwards after a cancer surgery. It was extremely hard to walk or even just stand properly, I was unable to put my heel on the floor. This was the best thing I bought in my life. I can't even use it for longer than half an hour at a time a few times a day at the moment as it's forcing my foot back in normal position and it's quite painful but even those half an hours made a huge difference. I walk much easier, my ankle is not so stiff and the pain has noticeably lessened in my calf and I only use it for a few days.
