This product is well made and will work well with ducts that terminate a few inches from the intersection of wall and ceiling. However, in our case, the duct edge was flush with the wall and the vent flange interfered with the wall, unless modified. This is no fault of the manufacturer, but the DIY'er should keep this in mind under such conditions.
