This is the 2nd Reacher film with Tom Cruise. A totally different plot line, helping a former military female friend discover who has falsely been accused of a crime. I'm a big fan of Reacher books, binged all by Lee Child during Covid. Just not a fan of the streaming series, not true to the books.

I love Tom Cruise in the 2 Jack Reacher films. I didn’t read the books so am not bothered by his casting in the roles. I think the 1st one is better, but fully enjoyed this sequel. Absolutely recommended

Military Police but he ends up in the middle of a cover-upinvolving weapons! There's a lot of negative reviews onIMDb.com which I suppose has to do with being true to thebooks! Not sure! But I thoroughly enjoyed it!! RP

The 2 movies that Tom Cruise did as Jack Reacher were both good moves. They are not as good as the 2 seasons Alan Ritchson did as Jack Reacher. All are well worth watching

Great series, great movie,I hope they do more.I actually like this sequel a little better thab the original,but they were both very good.You don't have to watch the first one to get/understand this one,I actually watched them out of order and it didn't really have an effect on it for me.Tom Cruise is physically much smaller than Jack Reacher is portrayed in the books,but that wasn't a sticking point for me either.He really is great in this kind of intense, slightly over the top at times roll,and it seems his star power is enough of a draw by itself that his movies usually don't resort to over the top vulgarity, sexuality and gore.= most TC movies are fairly teen friendly, including this one.Some of the characters (including Jack at times) come off one dimensional,but that's just the comic book nature of a movie like this.There are times when the character drama is strong and deep,but it's the action and twists and turns that make it good.This movie and Jack Reacher #1 are both recommended

If I enjoy a film, I'll watch it over again, 2-4 per year. Tom does a lot of such films as he's a very good and dedicated actor who gives it his best in order to convey the impact of the story. After I purchased this film, I read a review thatclaimed this film was very disappointing as compared to the first. This made me really question my decision to buy it. I don't know what condition he was in when he watched this film but was happy I bought it after watching it, in fact I might even say it's a better film from the first one that I enjoy so much that I've watched it 5 times already!
