I got the i7-11700f, this model has no integrated graphics but im using it as the cpu for a proxmox server. I can say it works great, I can run the game servers I want, as well as host the website I want without so much as a hiccup. The cpu has intel's virtulaization technology in it so device pass-through is possible, and it having 8 cores (16 with hyoer threading) means I can have many instances of vms running at the same time. It doesn't use a lot of power and that means it will stay cool and it will keep the fans quiet. All in all if I wanted to use this for gaming I see no reason why this couldn't be used in a sub1k gaming build the server I built cost me about 600$ total, and runs great.
