good product, works perfectly
I stupidly shorted the battery terminals on my Addmotor M560 ebike, and of course the battery "bricked" and went dead instantly. I took the thing to a bike shop and they told me "sorry we don't fix batteries, talk to the manufacturer". I did, and was told that my battery was just slightly obsolete, I could send the battery to them for evaluation but if the BMS board was blown, they wouldn't ship it back to me but instead scrap it there and cause me to shell out $699 for a new battery pack. Ugh. SO I bought this nifty BMS board and with great care I opened the battery pack and replaced the bad BMS board with this one. Perfect, it worked as advertised and I saved myself $685 dollars! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but don't try this if you aren't good with soldering and well versed in handling live power electronics.... These batteries can put out a LOT of energy if shorted, and easily become a firebomb on your kitchen table if mistreated!!

There isnt a way to turn off power
This BMS doesnt have provisions to install a power switch, and therefore the plug has voltage output all the time. During storage the BMS is consuming power **EDIT- after only a couple charges the "C" terminal on the circuit board has no connection, therefore i connected the charge wire to the "P" and its charging again, but know that this is a workaround

So far so good
I have bought several of these. I just had one that I thought had an issue but upon further diagnosing it was unrelated and even though the battery caused the BMS to go into a fault it actually recovered. I'd call that a really good test verification that it does function properly. I haven't tested all features but do assume based on using these on many packs and not having any comebacks or issues that these are a good option.

Works as intended
Fairly generic BMS offered by several sellers. I tested the high and low voltage cutoffs and they're fairly accurate. Unlike some older cheap BMS', when the high voltage limit is reached, charging is stopped but load current is still allowed to flow, as it should. I had an older POS BMS that disconnected everything - load and charging, at the high voltage cut off. This can occur if charging current (i.e. solar) is higher than load current. If your load is an inverter, it shuts off, then is destroyed when the BMS re-connects full bank voltage, if your inverter doesn't have a startup reset.

very well and you

Simple and works well
I use 2 of these on my 13s battery packs and only use them to balance not charge or discharge, they get a bit warm during charging but none of the cell banks have gone too high or low, the connector also makes checking balance manually very easy

Stopped working after first charge
Everything was good and in working order, using on a 2000w motor. After the first charge. it no longer works. It plugs into the motor, then when a load is applied, it stops and then VERY slowly the volts climb back to 48... then again, when load is applied, it stops.... batter works good without, all cells good... Cant figure this one out. 5/29/22- got it to work... just took everything apart and started all over.... but now.... i cannot get it to take a charge..... uggghg...
