Bass Trucker Hat

This is the second Costa XL hat that I have purchased recently. My review on this hat is virtually identical to the previous Costa XL hat (HA35N) I purchased,My hat size is 7 3/4. I have a tough time finding baseball hats that fit my huge melon of a head. There are 7 plastic pegs on the snap back closure and this hat fits my head comfortably with the strap snapped on 4 of the pegs. I can actually wear the hat with 5 pegs snapped, but it is a little tight on that setting. The crown is moderately deep and the hat fits down nicely leaving just enough room for my sunglasses to rest on my ears without interference from the hat. This hat is definitely an XL. I would think that anybody with a hat size smaller than 7 1/4 might find this hat to be too large. I'm also guessing this hat would easily fit up to a size 8 and maybe 8 1/4.This is a high quality hat. It has a structured crown and a semi stiff bill. It holds its shape very well. I find the quality to be very comparable to a Simms Fishing Products hat, which are my favorites.The only negative comment I have on this hat is that the hat I received has a different fish patch than the one pictured on the Amazon product page. It is still a bass, but the fish on my hat is flat and does not have the curved tail. This honestly was not a surprise to me since I read the same comment in a few other reviews before I ordered this hat. I would have rather had the curved bass, but it was not a deal breaker for me.

Seems like good quality and fits good but wrong logo on front. The fish is not bent like in the pic but lays flat. The 1 in the pic looks much better.**UPDATE** after 4 1/2 years of purchasing this hat I am taking the time to come back and change my 3 star rating to a 5 STAR RATING!! This is by far my favorite hat I have ever owned! Been wearing hats religiously since I was about 10 so about 25 years and always have the same problem of cheap quality, crooked logos or they just don't fit right. I do not have a huge head but most hats sit too far above my ears but this 1 comes right down to them and after a short break in period fits like it was made just for me. Ive worn the hat every day for 4 1/2 years not trying at all to be gentle with it and it is beyond gross now, the brim has completely frayed in the front and all the snaps on the back have broken off except 1 which that is really the only thing I am surprised about. I love the hat so much that I just super glued the straps together and its fine. I still wear it every day and my girlfriend hates how gross it is now so I just purchased another 1. It will still hang in my garage and be my go to when im wrenching, camping or anything that will give me an excuse to put it on. This may sound a little extreme but a huge thank you to Costa for making what I believe is the perfect hat for me! P.S. Im not even a huge fisherman, just love the hat!!

One of my favorites! Previously purchased the blue version and was happy with that one. Now i just need a fishing trip to see if this ones lucky. Price was comparable to that as some retail stores and arrived on time. Planning to purchase again when this one wears out.

The Costa Del Mar Bass hat is well made and looks fantastic, and it fits great on Big head!

It is a snap back and one size fits all. I was satisfied with this hat.
