Class Act!
This standing, sitting, or lying work desk is assembled using Allen head screws in two sizes. The engineering is superb, and the screws align perfectly and drive easily. The casters snap on and the posts have a locking feature that keep them attached securely -- but still allow you to remove the casters (with some effort). Two of the casters have locks to keep it from rolling when in use (which actually work). The legs are designed so that you can slide one end under a bed or couch, making it a great choice for home or office. The all-important hydraulic support post works well. The desktop pops up enthusiastically when the hydraulic lever is released, and you can push it back down again easily (with some effort) to switch between standing and sitting heights. The switch is located under the desktop near the edge where it's easy to reach. I've used larger $1000 power standing desks in the past, and this compact model easily rivals the quality and stability of more more expensive units. You can easily pickup the entire unit to move it to another room or just roll it across the floor. One minor snag is that there the desktop rotates left and right slightly under pressure. There is a preinstalled screw running through the hydraulic posts which looks like it would let you tighten the desktop rotation. But I can't tighten it myself. Both ends have Allen heads, and even with a second Allen wrench, it won't budge. But it's not much of an issue. Although the assembly is easy, and the directions clear, I did manage to make a mistake. When attaching the hydraulic release lever to the desktop, I used the longer Allen Head screw by mistake, and marred the surface when the screw poked through the top. Totally my fault, and for now, I'm just using a table mat to cover up my blunder. Highly recommended!

Great little desk if you don't have extra monitors
I ordered this desk to go with my new walking pad so I could "walk at work". I work from home in a small space. Been using this desk and walking pad about three weeks now. This desk was very easy to assemble. It is lightweight and steady enough for me to use with my walking pad. Sometimes I put a hand down on it for a bit of balance - no problem. I have a laptop and my mouse on it - sometimes some coffee or a cup. You might be able to put one extra small-ish monitor on here - but I think two extra monitors would be tough to cram on it. It lifts and lowers easily - no problem there. I like that there are no 'set' positions it has to lock into - you can adjust the height widely within the range. Because it is pneumatic - I'd suggest making sure you do not have a drink sitting on it when you adjust it - I can adjust it with my laptop and mouse on it fine. So far, so good - I expect to get years of use from it. Recommend!

Does the job with low weight equipment
Product works just as expected, easy to assemble though directions could be clearer in some areas. With a laptop and a monitor it does get a bit wobblier than I would like when it the stand position but it doesn’t seem like it will tip, just get kind of annoying. Action on the pneumatic is quick and crisp though and the simplicity and price can’t be beat for simple applications!

Value for money, easy to assemble
Perfect for a small home but need some proper setting for office. Very easy to assemble. Nice and trendy. Perfectly did the job especially easy to get up and down. Also love the wheels (2 have the lock). If this model has a wider desk, I may choose this one but this size is good. It fits a long keyboard, a mouse tab and (somewhat crowded) coffee mug

Easy to assemble and use
I was 3 weeks post back surgery when I received this. I had help, but this was super easy to assemble. The stand’s screws went into preassembled metal holes that allowed for not splitting wood. I was impressed. This is not a cheaply made desk. One of the easiest things I’ve ever assembled. Super easy to use. Puts no pressure on my back at all. Easy to clean. I lean on the desk often and have no problems. I would recommend using a mouse pad or desk mat with this amazingly sturdy sit/stand desk. Update: I’ve had this desk for over 2 years and it still works very well. Highly recommended!

perfect entry-level standing desk
This desk is actually like a good-looking hospital room table. It goes up and down by pressing a smell lever. It's on a wheels so you can move it anywhere. It's not too small and not too big. It's very well made and easy to assemble. I had a really nice Human Scale standing desk a about 6-7 years ago when that was the only game in town. I loved it, but it was expensive and required somebody else to assemble it. This little desk I was able to do all on my own, and guess what, I love it as much as the Human Scale desk.

Could have been great, but desk "sinks" from height
I've had this desk for 6 months now and there are some benefits; it's compact, easy to assemble, and portable. The base is built well. Unfortunately the hydraulic system buckles under just a small amount of weight. Even with the desk "locked" in place, if you simply rest your elbows on the desk (like many often do while working), it'll start to sink from its determined height. This is okay when using it as a true standing desk, as the weight of my laptop and monitor aren't enough to produce this effect. However if I rest my forearms on the desk while typing, the desk starts to sink again. In short, it can be good depending on how you work, but you get what you pay for.
