Perfect
Perfect price. Perfect performance. Perect size. Perfect quality. I used this to make mead. I just decanted to a pitcher when I needed to, cleaned the bottle and poured it right back in. The plastic lid has a nice gasket in it, but I don't know if it leaks. I'm too chicken to try. For this price, I'm just going to serve it out of the jug. It's much cheaper than buying a bunch of bottles and it's small enough to make pouring easy. Love this! Perfect for first time brewers and small batches. Easy to clean, looks great and very well made. Stable.

Inexpensive set with a good quality
When I got it this was the cheapest set available - I just wanted to have a second one on hand for various brewing experiments. I’m happy with what I got for what I paid!

It works great for fermenting!!!
Many review are base on lack of knowledge. That the cork doesn't hold but puts no pressure to lock it in and they take a star or two. The product works as intended. The cork is not to be shoved it all the way just enough to keep it in place. I am fermenting a Caribbean drink called Mauby. I tried it once as a teen and once I left the island I never drank it again until now. I made two batch and this one as a little bit of extra sugar because yeast love sugar and I still need to keep the sweetness but add a bit of fuzz. Unlike wine that takes over 30 days, this drink takes no longer than 5 days. I am satisfied with the product and it works just right. As you can see the yeast is doing its job and the tip is not leaking out foam. I added a video and picture One more thing, no one mention that water is needed in the airlock so air doesn't go in the bottle but only comes out. It took 24 hours to realize this. My fermenting takes 5 days so it should still be good. I was questioning as to why is it called airlock in my island we just put a small hole on the lid. This airlock is a great idea of releasing and protecting it from contaminate.

Perfect Carboy and Airlock for Home Fruit-Wine Making!
This is my 2nd carboy/airlock. I got a home wine-making kit last year - finally made my first gallon, using the carboy/airlock that came with it. Instantly loved the process, want to do more experiments! But... each batch made takes a few months to age. So... to make another batch while the other is still aging... you need a 2nd (and 3rd and 4th ha ha hahahh ah) carboy and airlock! This glass one gallon carboy and airlock comes well-packaged, and does come with a black bottle cap also. Perfect. Can't wait to make my next batch. Pop Quiz: what organic fruit wine will I be making in this carboy? Hint is in the last photo! So yummy... and fun to make. Having the extra carboys and airlocks means you can have more batches aging at the same time!

Great Product For Home Brewing
My fiancé got this to start up his home brewing process and has been impressed with it so far. The quality of the glass is nice and strong. Definitely durable. The product is easy to use and the lid gets nice suction with no leakage. It is fairly heavy when it is full, but that’s to be expected honestly. The quality of the product that comes out is also top tier. We highly recommend this product if you’re doing any home brewing.

Simple but effective
It's a simple 1 gallon jug with an airlock and it does what it's meant to do. I wish there was a more clearly defined 1 gallon mark on the jug but otherwise it's a solid product at a good price.

Value for money
Wanted to start brewing at home. So I bought this carboy, the water seal is good and works well. The air tight screw on lid is a nice addition. I haven't tasted it yet but I don't have reason to suspect it to be bad.
