Works for me
I had the virus. That's 3-4 weeks , you have to let it run its course. This was different, head and cold over the counter didn't work. But it did dry out my sinuses. Massive nose bleeds, niagra falls nose bleeds. So no head and cold medicine. Prtty much gasping for air 24/7.Virus gone, turns into sinus infection. Going on 6 weeks now. The first time I used the rinse it bubbled like running soda thru my sinuses. The second time it tickled. Couldn't stop laughing. Got the dry nose as well. Blowing my nose packed it up even more. So instead I flush my nose, and put a few drops of dry nose. The bleeding slowed then stopped. The swelling went down, first time in 6 weeks I could breath, no longer gasping for air. as of today no more nose bleeds, and my sinuses are running clear. and my sense of smell has returned. Couldn't be happier.

Helps Sinusitis/Rhinitis
I have chronic indoor/outdoor allergies year round. I was miserable and felt like I had a constant cold, every day of my life. Prescription nasal sprays and pills no longer worked for me. Finally, I found this product on Amazon and it really helps clear my sinuses, as well as help keep some of the swelling down in my nasal passages. The effects seem to last for hours. At first, I thought it just did an okay job of helping my sinuses, but I finally realized that I wasn't using enough of the product. Remember to use distilled water. I mix it in a Nasopure bottle. Give it a try!

AMAZING PRODUCT
I am a first time reviewer. You can check my review history.I have chronic symptoms of loss of smell. Prescription drugs provided me temporary relief.I just use this product the second time and I am beginning to have my sense of smell back. So amazed at this product that I needed to write a review and try to help others who's also have anosmia.

Important element in my recent multipronged sinus infection treatment
I live in beautiful but high (7000 ft) and dry Santa Fe, New Mexico. Allergies to chamisa, juniper and cottonwood run rampant here, including in my nose. Winter brings the addition of heated, even drier air.I have tried all sorts of potions and treatments to shake a sinus infection I have had for several years. I have a neti pot and used it occasionally with the little packets of saline solution but it not only didn't help but seemed to dry out my nose, and not in a good way. I even got nose bleeds.I decided to really attack the situation on several levels: I started taking wild oregano oil capsules, along with my favorite preventive remedy, Source Naturals Herbal Resistance Liquid (take it in a glass of water and Emergen-C when you feel a cold coming on and bam, it's gone). Nose-wise I got Baraka's dry nose oil and dabbed it in my nostrils after using this infused salt with my neti pot.Within two days I felt a big difference...I can breathe fully through my moist nose, have less postnasal drip-caused cough, and don't feel like there is something fermenting up on my sinuses. I plan to continue using this and other Baraka products.

A must to have! Give it a try!
I'm using this salt daily for the past 3 month. My entire family got sick several times during the past 3 month. I have weekend immune system and when everyone in the family was struggling with the same virus symptoms I did not get sick while taking care of everyone! My doctor recommended me to use the neti pot, I decided to try the Baraka essential oil infused salt instead of the regular salt pockets. I love the smell of the salt, it is very gentle and makes me feel refreshed. BUT! What I really like is that I stoped being sick!!! I use it in the mornings only and occasionally in the evenings (only if there is somebody sick in the house or a severe allergy day). I highly recommend you to give it a try! If you will use it once a day, the 8 ounce jar will last about 2-3 month.
