For the young people using it for its "secondary purposes", it works for that. I take 1 2X a day, shortly before eating breakfast + dinner. DON'T TAKE 2 AT ONCE , the headache is wicked.

As a medical nutrition is in a naturopathic doctor this product was somewhat adequate, I do know that there are others on the market that are much more efficacious for the price.

I tried Saw Palmetto first, but for me it didn't seem to last a full 24 hours. I was thinking of taking Saw Palmetto twice daily but gave this a try instead. This seems to work at least as well and the effect seems to be more consistent throughout the day. I trust the Nutricost brand and have many of their products.

I had to stop taking after a few days. Caused heart palpitations. Item is not an extract as described but a powder so dosages are off.

Initial use shows results with urine issues improving after a few days. From further research, any other benefits pygeum has should be seen within a month of use and one user I read about reported results after 16 days. I used it for a week and didn't notice any other benefits, but with the new information, I will continue to use it for a couple of weeks to see if anything happens. I'll update you with more numbers when I notice the results.-Update-Its been a few days and I've got to say, the results were in! It only took me around twenty days. If you know then you know. Other than that, great product!

I read other comments so I tried, I have been taking it daily after every meal for 18 days and other than minor headache, no change took place. There are positive writing on about Pygeum but this brand must not be effective. I mean it was cheap, so I took a chance but no improvement of urine flow. I tried today for a refund but it is not refundable. If you still want to try Pygeum, try another brand.
