ND22 Dive Light - 1300 Lumens Compact Bright Scuba Diving Torch, IP68 Waterproof Submersible Flashlight with 8-Degree Focused Narrow Beam for Underwater Exploration

Wow, this light is fantastic. I dove with it the whole week. No issues at all. Very solid & bright as expected, easy to operate, very long battery life (did 6 dives, and it took less than 15 min to charge back to 100%),so fast charging. I definitely like the size and weight, not heavy and easy to hold. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this light for 9 months now and it has never failed. It's quick and easy to operate with 1 main button that shifts between 4 light modes with an easy press of the thumb. The only issue i've had is when I packed the light in my bcd and accidently pressed the button as i was putting it away. Good news the light lasted for at least 2 hours of continuous use until i realized it was still on and did not burn a hole in my bcd... so that's pretty great. It has 3 regular light modes that shift between 300, 1000, and 2500 lumens. And 1 additional light mode which is a strobe that i never needed but was a nice feature to have. The torch is a bigger than some of it's competitors width wise around the lens but it is shorter and more compact length wise making it a nice fit or your hand and easier to stow in dive pockets. This is a solid product and a great value for the price.

I am a professional diving instructor and when I'm not doing my job - I'm diving anyway - and always on the hunt for small, reliable, bright, long lasting lights.I have been using this light for a few weeks and wanted to share my impressions over two weekends worth of dives - one in a freshwater quarry -in mucky green water and one in over 100' feet of salt water for Megalodon tooth hunting off North Carolina.First impressions - this light is small, portable, bright, and absolutely pocket sized. Exactly what I want in a recreational light. For those that have used other brands - this is much smaller than similar Tovatech and BigBlue (1200NP) models. And with that smaller size - you get a brighter light - 2500 lumens (versus typically - 1200 lumens). The lens is slightly wider - and has 4 individual LEDs which means you get an even narrow beam - without a bright "hotspot" in the middle of the beam when it's illuminating something. Due to the size - it fits in the palm of my hand - and doesn't stick out - perfect.Looking at my pictures - you can see it cuts thru the green fog really well - illuminating under rocks 8-9 feet away. The latter pictures at at over 100' deep and it just absolutely lights up the scene in the limited light. (The camera slightly overexposed the scene - so it doesn't look as "dramatic" as it was).I'm learning about Odepro - and they are swinging way above their weight class to develop a 2500 lumen light in this size and capability - and for a cheaper price than competitors - count me shocked - and delighted. I will use this ongoing as a primary recreational light and a backup tech light. If I had to recommend a first dive light - i'd recommend the ND51 - over other brands. Until you start tech diving and need a canister light - this one will meet your needs indefinitely.Pros/Cons:Pros:1) Size - this is a smaller light than even a BigBlue 1200 model - shorter and lighter - it fits in any BCD pocket and stays in the palm of your hand easily2) Brightness - 2500 lumens in a narrow beam is more than enough light - and more than competitors offer in the size. People often go to "video lights" when they need more than 1000 lumens of light - which is not very useful as those lights illuminate a wide beam (150 degrees or more) versus a tight narrow beam. With this light - you put the light exactly where you want it every time.3) Battery life - this uses the 26850 battery - which is a slightly "fatter" version of the 18650 battery most lights use. Whatever your typical lights will do - these will last even longer. 26850 batteries pack a lot of power and last a long time. I did 3 dives at 45 min on my second weekend and it was still going strong. (Admittedly - i wasn't 100% of the time on max power - but a lot of the time I was. So in my test - it was all day battery life...which is wonderful).4) Accessories - everything you need is in the box. Light, battery, charger, o-ring spares, lanyard. You literally need nothing - I like it when manufacturers put in the extra bits. Thank you.5) Quality - THICK aluminum walls - and THICK glass on the lens. Plus a magnetic switch - so it won't leak. This is the proper way to build a light - the ocean is harsh - and a rugged light is key. Well done.Cons:1) Button (but not really) - if i had ONE wish - i would make the button a little less prominent -and recessed into the body. Just a preference. Some might argue you can find it by touch easier. It's a preference that's all. Not a real "con". I just love smooth barrels on my lights. Not a big deal actually.Overall - this is the most surprising choice in this category I've seen. It's small, it's reliable, it's bright, and it's my new go-to primary light. Save your money on other choices - this one gives you more light for less money than anyone else out there.

If you are seeking a back up dive light that will do the trick, consider getting this one. It will help your dive buddy identify where you are and illuminate lare areas of focus in a general bath of light. To me, this light was not designed to bring on technical dives or wish to be used in overhead environments but will suit the general diver just fine.I have had trouble with the battery draining on its own a few times after charge but prior to dive use. As a work around, I do not screw the light head to the handle all of the way but rather leave a little space on the threads so the contacts don't touch each other. I just remember to tighten everything all of the way prior to dive use. The multiple o-rings will undoubtedly keep moisture out of the battery compartment as the design seems well suited for a dive light . The battery charge cradle holds the battery well and fits together snugly to charge efficiently. One battery will last two dives but I would not try three dives since that's just me. The kit came with two batteries, so I have changed the old one out to be prepared for dives three and four on any given dive day.The light seems sturdy and rugged enough which could probably withstand a waste height drop test thought I have not personally verified this.Final notes: this light will do the job as a good back up dive light.

It would make for an excellent primary light for the recreational diver as well as a back up light.For a more in depth review, here’s what i got:My experience with the light over the last 6+ months has been nothing less than amazing. The light has been exceptionally bright on a variety of dives with varying lighting conditions. The battery has yet to died on me during any of my dives with some dives lasting over an hour while being constantly on in the high to medium high setting. The light beam has a decent range underwater and is good for signaling to your dive buddy at night. It’s small form factor makes it easy to attach to gear and stow when not needed on the dive but is still readily accessible. The light exceeded my expectations on all fronts and ODEPRO has been one of my go-to lights for my dives. Thanks to their affordability as well as performance I can confidently recommend this light. Like I said earlier, if you’re looking for a light for one reason or another I definitely recommend this light!
