Fun to have a different design, and to have a remote for changing the temperature/color of the light, from warm, to daylight, to brighter/blue. I like the middle (daylight) setting, and you can even click to gradually change the color settings in between the main three settings. It also has a dimmer on the remote, and the circular LED side-lights are kind of fun.These were fairly easy to install, about 10 minutes each. Some complain about the wires not being long enough, but they worked fine. Less wire to have to coil up and stuff up into the electrical fixture mount/box.I have a larger, 13x21 room, and two of these fixtures work fairly well to fill it with light. It is decently bright, but if you're the type of person that likes two 100-watt bulbs in every fixture and a LOT of lumens, this may not be the light for you. It replaced two single light fixtures that had a 100-watt compact fluorescent in each, and the room seems to have a similar brightness to them. Lucky for me, I also have 6 spots in the same room that I can turn on to flood in more light, if needed, but the decorative nature of these two lights are fun, especially considering most LED lights are just flat circles. I wanted something different. I would have given it 5 stars if it was even brighter, but I knew what I was buying, that's why I bought two of them.

Pros:-Looks greatCons:- poor craftsmanship all the screws securing internals poke through not allowing for a flush mount.-Very inconvenient you cannot turn light switch off you have to use the provided remote otherwise if you do it cycles light every color every time you use the switch.- light is Not Dimmable with dimmer switch only with remote- wire leads could be a little longer.

1) wires too short for install2) Remote control seems like a perk at first but logistically it is more annoying than it is worth. I would rather be able to buy the light temperature that I want and be able to use the light on a traditional dimmer switch because lets face it, where are you going to keep the remote and if your like me, there is a 99.99999% chance that you will lose it at some point (which may be the point forcing you to replace the light quicker than the LEDs burn out). Unfortunately, if you want anything other than the default color (very warm white -3000K, which is fine) even if you switch to a different temperature, the light will go back to the default once the light is turned off for any period of time until you either use the remote or turn the switch on and off quickly to the temperature you want.3) shorted out very quickly

I rated it lower on the "easy to install" category because the wire leads coming out of the light are too short in my opinion, making the installation very difficult for one person. Other than that drawback, the fact that you can choose the light color, the brightness, etc. are great pluses.

I loved the modern style of this light and how flush it is to the ceiling. We used it in our basement with low ceilings. The different types of lighting and brightness help with different activities in the room. If anyone says it is not bright enough they must want to live on the sun!

Took out old 1978 kitchen lights and replaced with these to extend our more "industrial" look throughout the house. Love the look, the various remote functions, the bluish light, etc!
