Sweet little find
These worked better than expected. Our daughter wanted a slushie maker. I stumbled across these cups instead. They are very easy to use and work fast! They were a huge hit for Christmas! Easy to clean. My only complaint is they don’t hold much liquid. So when making the slushie we have to do the process twice. I do wish they were a little bigger. But they work well and get the job done and tastes like a slushie should. We have used these so far for regular pop. My daughter said she would have liked if the spoons matched the cups in color.

Great slushy maker!!!
Originally my 14 yr seemed disappointed because he was complaining it was too slow.. (it had been 20 seconds🤣) Then after about 30 seconds he started seeing ice. This cup makes a slushy within one minute if you freeze the cup. We have a deep freezer we use and it works like a charm! The consistency is perfect, super duper soft exactly like a fluffy snow cone, and it works for basically anything you put in it! He's used chocolate milk, unfrozen Popsicles, soda, and kool aid so far. I told him, "if you want I can return it, since it's so slow!" He immediately took back his complaining and now he uses the cup daily. He loves the big spoon stirrer it comes with. He takes care and doesn't lose a piece. He even uses the stirrer for cereal, lol. He really likes. My younger sons beg to borrow it. My oldest had it on his christmas list, and the little ones didn't. Lol It cleaned very easily too. The slushy cup holds a good amount but it's not super big. I tried counting ounces and I believe it holds 12 ounces of water without overflowing. 16 ounces would've overflowed it for sure. Seemed like 13 would overflow. Try for yourself with a measuring cup like I did. Seems like enough for one person. The cup has water inside it that shakes around. I hope it supposed to do that, because I wasn't the one who opened the package to even notice how it came. Cup seems very hard to break, I hope. Also we've made 1 slushy then dumped it in a cup and quickly tried to make a second one hoping we wouldn't have to freeze it again for a second one and it worked we'll but not super soft slushy like the first one. Still good. 5 stars!

Poorly designed, but does actually freeze things
The technology works -- almost too well. But the cup is poorly designed. They put appearance over function. In order to make it look as if it holds more than it does, they made it a tall, narrow cone. When the liquid goes in, it instantly begins to form a very solid layer in the bottom and on the sides. The little plastic scraper isn't even close to sturdy enough to scrape it off. A butter knife works a bit better. There's no way to scrape it from the sides quickly enough to prevent the build up. It requires constant, forceful scraping, and the narrow cone shape means you can't scrape the bottom. Worse -- every scrape results in the liquid splashing upward out of the glass like a geyser. It holds 7 ounces, but a good deal of it is wasted because it freezes so thickly that there's no getting it out, not to mention the amount hat ends up on the counter and on your shirt. I end up with about 3 ounces of drinkable slush. It's a little better if you add the liquid in small amounts, so that the incoming warm liquid helps to keep it from forming a thick layer so quickly. Now, having said that this cup is poorly designed, I would like to try their ice cream bowl, because the technology works well, and the bowl shape might prevent some of the issues. Since making slush in the cup is impractical, I tried putting yogurt in it, and this worked much better than the liquid. Still rather impractical since it's difficult to scrape it from the bottom of the tall, narrow glass without having yogurt-covered fingers, but the yogurt is too thick to splash and make a mess. It would have made a passable frozen yogurt if I hadn't given up with it half frozen because of the annoyances caused by the cone-shaped cup. So... definitely don't waste your money on this cup, but don't discount the brand entirely. The technology works and the product is solidly constructed. if their product engineers stop putting form over function, they are going to put out some good products. Update: I have since made it work very successfully in 2 ways. 1. put very warm coffee in it at the start, and added more warm coffee periodically. 2. Put fruit juice in it when it had not been in the freezer for the recommended length of time. So it basically gets too cold to function and needs to either not be frozen all the way or you need to use warm liquid to prevent it freezing too fast. For this reason I have upgraded to 4 stars.

Best slushy cups ever!
I wish I could give these slushy cups ten stars. My nephew and I had been looking for a slushy making cup. We never could decide. Then in early June of this year I ordered these cups for our birthdays. They are amazing! They work great and we totally love them. There were a lot of hot afternoons spent on the front porch drinking slushies. I would reconmend getting these cups for sure!

Super recomendado!

Like + It really does create slush ice, just needs to put it longer in freezer and scrape the cup with the spoon from the insides to the middle from time to time. And add the cooled down drink to it from the fridge. + can make almost 2x slush. Dislike - Has to stay in the freezer for 8-? Hours for it to work, but it is normal.
