Wonderful for a Montessori home!
My two year old loves using her knives and feels very grown up having them. I like feeling safe while knowing that she actually can safely cut with them. They are great quality and a great addition to any Montessori style home. She also uses them with clay, vegetables, bananas, fruit etc.

Fun kitchen tools for toddlers
These knives are great for toddlers interested in participating in food prep! My 3.5 year old enjoys pulling up her step stool to the counter next to me so she can help me cut vegetables and prepare dinner. Knives are sharp enough to cut food, but won’t cut your hand.

Great knife for kids
My 5 year old grandson loves this knife. He uses it at the dinner table and is developing his knife skills. I bought several more for the younger kids to give them when they are ready.

Durable and useful
We have used the black, serrated dog knife since my son was three and it's wonderful! He knows where it's kept and uses it almost like a pocket knife, for cooking tasks like chopping apples or potatoes to household "tasks" like opening packages that have come in the mail. It's put up with some pretty tough use over the past two years and still works well, and gives him a nice degree of capability and independence without being dangerous. I'd recommend this as a gift for kids ages 2+.
