It glides on like butter and stays put for a couple hours. It’s not shiny, more like a waxy balm than a gloss. If I’m wearing a lip color I’ll put this on first and layer the color on top, it makes the lipstick slightly more sheer. I will probably buy more so I always have one with me.

For years I have suffered from lip melasma in the summers, as soon as the sun hits my lips a dark brown line forms on the both the top and bottom lips. It’s been so bad I’ve been asked if I am a smoker (I’ve never smoked a day in my life). I have literally tried every single lip balm made to protect lips I could find. This is the only one that actually protects my lips and doesn’t turn them white. I honestly can’t believe that after all these years I finally found something. I have one tube in practically every location of my home, car, bag you name it. I re-apply constantly to keep the melasma from returning. I was always so self conscious about it and tried using lipstick to cover it up but that really didn’t work and only contributed to making it worse since most lipsticks don’t have spf. This balm is lip-saving!

Seems to provide good sun protection for my lips without the nasty taste of other lip sunscreens. It's a bit pricy, though.

AMAZING!!! This is the first sunscreen chapstick that I’ve used that not only works… BUT DOESNT LEAVE THAT GROSS TASTE!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
