I’m going to start with the packaging and promptness of delivery. My experience with ordering, packaging and delivery was outstanding. My package came delivered on-time and damage free as promised. Second is the quality of the speakers. This is also outstanding. Well manufactured, every component is fastened properly and the materials are of premium grade. Now, for the performance. I’d give these a 10 out of 10.....Incredibly loud & clear. I’ve installed two of the DS 6.5” pro speakers in my Ultra Limited saddle bags, driven by a fosgate 450 watt 2 channel amp and am incredibly satisfied with the performance of these speakers. These DS pro speakers replaced brand new Infinity 62IX speakers that blew to pieces after 10 minutes of 90% volume. When I say blew to pieces, I mean, blew to pieces. My final overall impression is that these 6.5” Pro speakers could probably handle even more power, but are loud and clear enough to send you for hearing aids after a short bout of listening at the upper range of their power handlings capabilities. I am ordering a pair for my fairing location and will be installing these speakers on my friend’s street glide as well. Very impressive! I would certainly recommend purchasing the 6.5” Pro DS speakers if you’re looking for loudness, clear tweeter voice, and some serious bass thump in your music listening experience.

I was trying to come up with a good title for this review and this is all I can come up with. I got my 2010 Harley Ultra Classic and the stereo was all stock, it sounded terrible so I got the Rockford head unit and the $400 speakers, it sounded better but not amazing. I added the Rockford 1500x5 amp and quickly killed the Rockford speakers but I expected that since it was twice what they were rated for. I installed some Boston neo speakers rated to stand up to the power and they did but the sound wasn't what I expected. I finally upgraded to these DS18 speakers, I wasn't expecting much of an upgrade. First they didn't fit under my fairing and I almost pulled them and put the Bostons back in but decided to listen to them first and 5 seconds in I knew they they HAD to stay in! Wow, they changed my entire system! They're louder and more clear at 15 than the others were at 30, no more distortion or garage sound! I ride with my helmet and didn't realize how bad the others sounded at first, these sound incredible! The build quality is great, they're heavy and solid, far beyond the Rockford pair that cost more than twice the price of two of these. 100% I'm hooked and will upgrade to these from now on, you won't go wrong with DS18!

Insanely loud. Paired two with a 600w amp and its blasts. Perfect for a motorcycle or something that your willing to not have bass for- or paired with a good bass set up.

They get pretty loud and can take power. I've had 4 of these installed for over a year and havent let me down. I've tried different brands from pioneer to jbl all on the same amp im still using and they dont come close to these ds18

These speakers are good, the brand has a good reputation, but, I was expecting better highs. Sound is like a powerful mid range. I didn't return them, I place them in my truck - not in my sports....

I've read a lot of guys running these speakers in their Harleys and thought I'd try them. Having a good deck and amp already installed in my 13 Streetglide with average marine speakers I thought I was still lacking sound. These speakers PUMP! What a amazing upgrade. Cranked it up past the limit of the other speakers and still no distortion. Mounting is a pain in the but tho. I had to grind down my 5.25 to 6.5 adapters to 5/8" thickness otherwise speakers wouldn't let the outer fairing seal properly. The sound made it all worth it. Make sure you select 2 speakers when ordering for those that don't read!

Installed these on lower fairings , motorcyle application. Purchased the amp from the same company as well. Very pleased with the sound. Louder than I was expecting and good sound quality. Would purchase again and deffinetly reccomend.
