These are great to work with in closed environments to add color, textures or light up backgrounds also to light up talent in close ups and when ever an extra fill light or practical is needed.The case is sturdy but I would not throw it off a balcony or moving vehicle. The practicality of being able to charge all lights at the same time and also have USB out for other gear is fantastic!I will probably end up getting the 12 pack as well to have all 16 lights for some music videos and horror films that are coming my way.

This magnetic camera lighting is EVERYTHING. It really provides amazing pictures and video quality.

i purchased my MC 4-light kit from a retailer in LA as i needed them immediately, but figured it was worth sharing my thoughts here to help others.like some above have said (and indeed the product listing shows) the 4-light kit only comes with two diffusers. i did know this going in, but it doesn't make it any less puzzling as to why aputure would choose to manufacture and ship an incomplete kit.perhaps even more frustratingly, the "accessory kits" which would allow you to complete the four-light accessory pack are $30 a pop, and include a coldshoe mount that i have no use for.i'm not sure why aputure tainted such a great, well-thought-out product with such stinginess. it just doesn't track. but the lights themselves are quite useful and handy. and the sidus link app makes things that much better.

The only thing i don’t like they gave 2 white covers whereas they give 4 lights in the box.Other than that i love this product

First, I absolutely love these lights! I purchased two separately and found that I needed to add more to my lighting arsenal. I broke down and purchased the 4-Light Kit. Enter my annoyance. Why would you sell a 4-light kit but only include two silicone diffusers? The accessory bag as well is only meant for 2 lights. Let me say that again, the FOUR-light kit accessory bag only includes items for TWO lights and only holds said items for that amount.Guess I should've read that small print but thought this wasn't rocket science.

I bought this because it came with a kit and travel case. You're better off buying the lights separately so that you get 4 diffusers for each of the 4 lights - because the kit only comes with 2 ball heads, 2 diffusers, and 1 charger cable. It's incomplete and useless. If you buy the lights separately then you'll also save $100. This purchase is disappointing.
