Plantation Certified ORGANIC Blackstrap 15 oz (Pack of 2)

This is delicious molasses, and I feel good about the fact that it's organic. The consistency is perfect. Great for baking, or just on its own - a spoonful to boost iron intake. Very happy with this purchase and I will re-order in the future.

This stuff is Alfa gal safe!!! I’ve been searching for molasses that doesn’t give me reactions due to processing with mammal products, and this stuff is perfect. It’s great for making brown sugar, gingerbread, and more! Definitely will repurchase.

The reason I give this one star is because I was not able to consume this product. I bought this to make a particular recipe for my baby that called for this ingredient. But when the bottle arrived, it has a warning on it saying that “consuming this product can expose you chemical such as lead”. I am very health-conscious especially when it comes to my baby, and I would never consume something that would expose me to a lead or other harmful chemicals. The problem is that when I went to try to return it, It was a non-returnable product. But nowhere on the product listing or its pictures did this warning show, even though it is clearly on the bottle. Had I known that the product had that warning clearly on the bottle I would not have purchased it.

I hate the taste of this so much, but I can't deny it's an amazing concoction full of vitamins and minerals, so I force myself to have one T per day. I usually mix it into hot water and drink it quickly. I then brush my teeth b/c the taste remains. Also -- I love the glass bottle. I wouldn't want this packaged in plastic. So, if your package handler ends up causing the bottle to break, there's really no need to post photos of broken bottles and wet packages. Just call Amazon and get a replacement.

We make our Mom's secret spice cookie recipe at Christmas every year. One Christmas we ran out of Plantation and used another brand and the cookies lacked that robust spice flavor and did not taste like a memory aka Mom's cookies. Mom always used Plantation so we always have this on hand now.

This organic molasses has great flavor and the stuff is truly sticky. Both bottles were contained in a tightly bound bubble wrap package inside a box with other ordered items. That was a blessing because one of the bottles had a shattered plastic cap and leakage was seen inside the bubble wrap. Everything else in the box was pristine. I was able to unwrap the molasses package and transfer the healthy product to a 1 qt Mason jar. Otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating for product quality.
