This is an excellent Shavette and well built. It gives a clean shave compared to traditional razors but do take it slow & easy. This shavette can easily cut you and i mean extremely easily, i managed to get 4 cuts just on my first try. xD So handle it with care & gently. The advantage of this shavette over traditional razors is that You dont have to clean it with water like traditional razors in which hair gets entangled. You can just continue shaving until you finish. Also since this only uses one half of the blade, you can save up money on them. Some tips to get a clean shave: 1) Like another reviewer has said, technique is what you must focus on when using this, always use this is a downward fashion or downward slanting fashion, never try to use the Shavette in an upward direction. 2) Did i remind you to Go slow?? Yes, go slow. 3) Be mindful of getting cuts in face, always use aftershave or dettol immediately after shave if you do get cuts as it prevents infection. 4) Dispose of used blades after you have used it once. Never reuse the blade again. Use a new one as it minimizes the chances of infection you get from cuts. 5) Use a good quality blade, Go for wilkinson sword or Gillette. The one blade they have already provided, just blindly throw it in the trash. (I got cuts from that useless blade only, not sharp enough.......trust me, throw it away). I ended up switching to Gillette blade. Important thing to know: There's a portion of area in the face known as Dangerous area of face or Nasolabial triangle (Google it.... xP). Its the portion in the upper lip and area surrounding the nose. Any cuts you get here can get infected severely which can then rapidly spread to the brain causing cavernous sinus thrombosis, meningitis or brain abscess, all of which can be highly fatal. So be mindful of getting cuts in this area, especially in the upper lip/moustache region. Use after shave or dettol after every shave even if you feel like you didn't get any cuts. This is not for the faint hearted. First timers will have lots of cuts. There is a technique which you need to master to get a good shave. However compared to the modern razor this one gives a very clean shave. The blade they provide is not worth it. Don't use this razor when you are in a rush. I put on some music on a lazy afternoon to do a shave. It was a wonderful shaving experience.

This is a great product! I love the honeycomb structure on its handle. Must buy! Should throw in atleast a box of gillette razors. Just got 1 razor.
