This is great device, pairing can be little confusing for certain products. But to my understanding, the issue is all about choosing the right remote. Don't go with the brand name of the remote, certain times the parent brand are the remote. Example in beginning my sanyo AC didn't pair in the available 60-70 remote options it gave, even offline method, in manual method it was too complicated, then something strikes ,sanyo is subsidiary of Panasonic, when I selected it, one the 1st option itself it worked, now all options of ac available to my alexa also to control. Atom berg fan works, but quite lesser, works for speed, on and off, believe good enough for alexa or ok google. End of day great device. Recommend to use unused small 5v adopt, not any fast charger. Since device doesn't need too much power input. So life of components is safe. So far using it more than 3years all good.

I bought it for running automations with a humidity/temperature sensor and my ac and fan. Initially I couldn’t get it to work with the automation which was being done by samsung smart things app. But then I found out that I could do it by creating scenes on the smart life app, which then could be imported to smart things app just fine. So the product turned out to be super useful afterall. As for being an IR blaster, no complaints whatsoever. I just request the company to improve compatibility with other apps. Many smartlife gadgets work with smart things app by default, but not this ir sensor, although it can be made to work with scenes like I explained.

It's not working in mitsubishi heavy industries AC

1. Received wrong cable wrong vable. Microusb the controller needs usb c 2. Dirty used product with no seal on package 3. Item does not turn on. It is a very basic IR blaster with an app and that makes it really really useful. I have used to automate when to turn my AC on or off and set the temperature. I have also have pairded my TV so that it can be turned on. So I was able to create a scene with Google Home to turn on my TV, launch the YouTube app and setting the volume at a specified level. Added my Google home mini smart speaker to this and all of it can be done just by a voice command. I will surely get a few more of these. Oh just one downside, it still uses micro USB.

Works well with every type of IR device. Value for money. This product have lowest price of similar products.

Works for tvs and fans not wifi remote ACS ! Dont buy it if you want to use it for Ac’s

First of all I received a used product. It had micro scratches all around on it. I did ignore that and tried using it. I wanted to automate my atomberg fan. Adding the fan under smart life app it does not have the speed functions. The speed1, 2,3,4,5 are listed in the 'more' buttons option amd hence it wont work if you ask alexa or google to increase your fan speed. Work around would be to add 5 different scenes where you define each scene for each speed and ask alexa to run the scenes. I did let that go as well. But I saw the device hangs at times with the led on and does not respond to any commands and you have to unplug and then plug it again to make it work normal. That was the time I decided to return it and get refund. Ordered another brand device now. Need to see how well that goes.
