Good quality
Worked well in my gasless setup.Be sure to remove the slag after the initial weld and you are fine to go back over the top for any imperfections.

A quick and easy way to get good quality wire
Great value for money and arrived on time. I used this outside in a field on a portable welder and found it did the job fine and was easy to carry as expected . . Size and appearance were as expected , it’s welding wire so not much to say there ! The quality is good with only one fault on the wire (a bizarre kink on the reel at one point only ) . Overall very happy and would buy again .

Better Quality than the wire i had been using
good welds achievable albeit with a fair amount of splatter that seems to be quite common with flux cored wires....but then again it could just be my welding and set up. non the less i'm happy with the end results compared to the last couple of reels i've used.

Best In its class!
Over the years i've used a fair few varieties of gasless wire on those jobs that would be a nightmare trying to keep the gas where you need it, and generally speaking the only stuff that works as it should comes with a hefty price tag. This little gem, however, has genuinely surprised me!If you're new to gasless wire, Its important that you know that gasless is NEVER going to behave quite like using regular wire with gas. There WILL be more spatter with this stuff and there IS a coating of slag that is probably not going to completely clean off without some work. But if you cant use gas, or you need to weld outside, or you simply want to weld without the complications and expense of a good gas setup, this stuff is fantastic.I imagine there are going to be alot of people buying this who are just starting out welding or haven't done much, so a few tips:Make sure your machine is set to the right polarity for gasless wire (torch negative, earth clamp positive), if your machine is gasless-only (doesn't have the option to even connect gas) then you wont have to worry about this as your machine will be permanently set to torch negative. Also some machines will have the option for gas but NOT the option to swap polarity for using gasless wire, so bare that in mind (sometimes you can swap them inside the machine mechanically, but this MUST be done by someone competent in high current high voltage systems.Make sure your EARTH clamp is connected to CLEAN and preferably shiny material! Most small machines come with hopelessly underwhelming earth clamps, they can still be used if you take care to always connect it to a clean piece of material. You can also massively improve the reliability and performance of these cheap earth clamps by brazing some copper or bronze onto the jaws (copper and its alloys are far more conductive than steel, so you get a much better connection per surface area)Finally, play with wire speed. Take a piece of scrap and start welding with one hand while adjusting your wire speed with the other until you get no stuttering, no excess spatter and a smooth rhythmic arc noise, you'll know when it sounds "right"!Well that's my 2 pence, hope somebody finds it useful. Highly recommended wire, for the price this stuff is hard to beat.

Good value
Bought this for my ROHR Mig 200mi set and it works perfectly. Decent welds from it. Plenty smoke and spatter as expected from Flux Core wire but all very manageable. I've bought several of these spools over the past few years and haven't been disappointed.

Great quality wire
I'm new to welding so have not got a lot to compare to but this wire is great, I'm using it in my Sealy mightymig100, it seems to be making nice clean welds, it puddles well and leaves a nice bead, it spits a little but with any gassless mig this is the case, the residue left it east to wire brush off and reveals a nice looking and sturdy weld.as said - new to welding Home/hobby - automotive application mainlybut I am more than happy with this wire 10/10
