Delicious way to make truffle fries

I dont have anything to compare it to. This is the first time I've ordered truffle oil. I think the white one is VERY light on taste. I would reorder but probably just the darker one for more robust flavor. Great value for the price.

I hate truffle oils because they mostly taste synthetic. These were great without the metallic flavor left over

Purchased this "truffle" oil and was extremely disappointed. I saw that it had around 4/5 starts on average and figured it must be decent. It was just straight olive oil. Not even a hint of truffle. I have purchased The Truffle Hunter oil previously and it was great, I just wanted to give another brand a try, but big mistake. I immediately returned and purchased The Truffle Hunter again. Usually truffle oil will have a tiny chunk of truffle in it as that is really all that is needed to give the oil the truffle scent and flavor, neither the white or black oil had any spec of truffle in it which explains whey it did not smell or taste at all like truffle (see pic). The label does say "Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Black Truffle Essence". I don't know if these guys just let the truffle sit by the jar of olive oil hoping it's essence would transfer? Maybe they set up a play date for the oil and the truffle but the oil didn't like the truffle? Hard to tell, but I'm telling you, there is no truffle in this oil.
