I just received this fertilizer for my indoor herbs that I grow inside during the winter. Wow! What a difference in just one week. The plants have responded with luscious, thick, quick growth. Previously I hadn't added any fertilizers and my herbs plants were doing ok, not really thriving, just stagnant really. I love that this product is organic and made from natural materials, which is the main reason for picking this one above any other. Excellent size bag - should last me a long time. Only a little bit is needed at a time. Thanks for a wonderful product! Will buy again! :)

I decided to try container gardening because I have never had a garden, and I've no idea what I'm doing. I saw little 3 to 4 inch tall herb plants in the produce section of Walmart and decided that I'd try some rosemary, basil, mint, etc. in the flower planters that the previous owners left hanging on the deck. If it worked, I'd have cheap, fresh herbs all summer, and if not, I wasn't out much money. After about 2 weeks the tiny plants were looking kind of peaked and raggedy, so I did some research and ordered Jobes plant food for herbs. My grandmother loved flowers and plants of all kinds, and she swore by the Jobes Plant Spikes, so this was a no brainer for me. Who else would I turn to? I use about a quarter cup twice a week, and my basil is now just over 3 feet tall. The mint has turned into an invasive bush and is desperately trying to invade the other planters and/or spread to the ground. This stuff is amazing, and now I have to figure out how to take care of these now very large green life forms through the winter.

I saw this on sale one day and since my basil leaves were small and not really growing, i decided to give this a try. A little goes a long way! My basil flourished in about a week. I just recently added another scoop to the pot, but i think i added more this time and my basil might be in shock with so much. In any case, i attribute that to my heavy hand and not because of this product.

Definitely do not use this as a top treatment. Plan to mix it into your soil- it smells like it’s all natural and organic so you’ll have a week or so of the odor before it goes away. Last year my mint did so poorly, but this year I’ve already harvested and more is growing back! I had to give it away to the neighbors I had so much of it. Same with the lavender- so much more growth this year.
