This is a good product but make sure you know what you are doing. I would recommend this product but some time when installing the bolts the rivets will spin.Over all it worked, I used it to install and hold down a custom floor shifter on my classic car.

These are high quality rivnuts. They work great. My only complaint is they didn't print drill size on label along with each different size.

I started a van conversion, realized this was one of the things I'd need to be using. I didn't need to have boxes of 100 per size laying about, so this variety pack worked perfectly for me.I know this is about the tool, but the nuts are critical to place in correctly. Don't put a 4" screw through a 3.75" hole or you dimple the outside of your auto. Don't fail to carefully align rivnuts that have to secure a single item... they want to thread in within a few degrees of each other. Letting the tool sag just before crimping will misalign one, and you may need to grind it off to re-crimp. Prime your holes, IMHO the paint can dry later. Support the tool unthreading from the rivnut.If you can, take your time drilling the holes, and if you can go through between spot welds it hold like a weld itself.Best of luck in your project.

Great product for the price. I’m restoring a ‘53 Willys and have used dozens of these where the old threads had to be drilled out or they just rusted out.

ive had another set for awhile, but the inserts are aluminum. they would strip out when installing.. look forward to using this with the steel inserts

They are as pictured. I installed some using the $25 Harbor Freight hand installing tool (looks like pop riveter) and they worked fine.Shipping was real fast.There is no reference to the size drill bit needed for each size. A silly kind of painful oversight. It could have been printed right on the picture label inside the top, or a sticker slapped on the outside, or even a printed card thrown in afterward...but there's nothing. I got out a vernier caliper and measured it, then really just slid drill bits into the caliper until one fit snugly.I'd buy them again if I ever ran out. Doubtful that'll ever happen...there are a lot of them in there.
