Ingredient NOVAMIN is key to this product.
This is a good product and I continue to reorder it because it contains NOVAMIN, which my dentist notes is valuable for cavity protection. However, twice now I have been sent toothpaste that does not contain NOVAMIN, and I have needed to return it and ask for the correct product.

Amazon Bait and Switch
This item no longer contains NOVAMIN, which was my entire reason for purchasing it. This was my 5th time to specifically purchase Sensodyne with NOVAMIN. Apparently Amazon has pulled a bait and switch and the same listing is now a misrepresentation of what you will receive. The ingredients no longer match the product you will get. Novamin has literally saved my tooth health, so I have no idea what I will do now…. Other than return the 4 boxes of overpriced toothpaste I received (that you can just go buy off the shelf.)

Great toothpaste!
High quality and great tasting toothpaste with 5% Novamin content. The tubes are less than 100g so they're TSA compliant for travel, and no issues with tooth sensitivity. I've always been a fan of Sensodyne toothpastes, and even though this one is not readily available in the United States, in my opinion it's worth seeking it out.

I Guess I Won the Novamin Lottery? (Jan 2026)
I was excited to order sensodyne with NOVAMIN but after placing my order, I came to the reviews to see why it wasn’t reviewed well… low and behold I see a ton of low reviews complaining that they were sent non-Novamin sensodyne. I was worried this would be the case for me, but I’m happy to say every box I received has Novamin as an ingredient and mentions it on the front of the box. I placed my order in Jan 2026 so I can’t say if I “won the Novamin lottery” or if the seller just started selling the stuff with Novamin again, but my personal order was correct. For those who don’t know, Novamin is why this particular sensodyne is great. Do your own research on it but they do not sell Novamin Sensodyne in the USA, you have to order it online like this, typically from Canada. I figure I’ll keep buying from this seller as long as they keep sending me the correct product.

Mid Jan 2026, still the formula with Novamin. Glad to be able to get it on Amazon still in the US

It works but VERY foamy
I think it does its job. I used Pronamel before, switched to the equate version of sensitive toothpaste, and now tried this Sensodyne toothpaste. I loved the Pronamel but it's pricey (can't get a larger economical pack locally) and I wanted to give different active ingredients at try. At first I didn't like it as much, it foams more than other toothpastes I have used and the taste isn't bad, but it is also a bit different. I assume the taste is the higher fluoride or the active ingredients. It's not overly minty, I don't find the spice overwhelming at all and I usually do find mint toothpastes strong, it's more like almost a tad chalky in taste. The Equate version tells you to use a 1 inch strip for brushing. Do NOT use that much of this stuff!! It takes literally a pea sized amount. A small pea. Very small pea. It's VERY foamy (like literally soap level of foam) and if you do more than a pea sized amount it starts to fill up your whole mouth and it wants to go down your throat! I think the extra foam is honestly the biggest adjustment with this toothpaste. I also didn't like it at first because I could "feel" it on my teeth after brushing. It wasn't painful or anything, just felt a little funny sometimes after brushing my teeth. I started with alternating between my old toothpaste and this one. Eventually I went to fully this toothpaste. I think the "feeling" before, after sticking by this toothpaste, was nothing bad and was actually my teeth getting less sensitive. I think it was making them less sensitive and because I wasn't used to that, it felt weird to me. I have noticed that my teeth are less sensitive now. And after using it for a bit I no longer have that feeling using it. I think the tubes will last for a very long time. At first I thought the price was fairly expensive, but after using it and knowing it takes truly only a pea sized amount, I think this will last a good time and be a decent price per month. As far as whitening goes, I don't think this whitens my teeth much. I think the equate one did the best whitening, but I also think it was the worst performing for helping sensitivity. Honestly, if the toothpaste helps with the sensitivity, I don't mind my teeth being a shade less white, but I do think they have gotten a little less white since switching. It's been a while since I used Pronamel, but I think this is comparable if not better. I would definitely recommend at least giving it a try if you have struggled with sensitive teeth. My teeth have been sensitive since I was a child, and I feel like this toothpaste has been one of the best to actually help with the sensitivity. I took one star off for the extra-ness to the foaming (I'm sure it's supposed to be like that but I do find it a tad annoying) and for the taste (it's not bad, definitely not bad, but just a little chalky and not a flavor that is very pleasant to me. It's a mint flavor, not too strong/spicy, but there's this underlying flavor to it that I'm not the hugest fan of. I wish they made this in another flavor, but hey it does work and it's tolerable, just not a favorite.) Also, many comments here saying they got ones without the advertised ingredients. I got mine with the correct ingredients! Ordered in Oct 2025.
