Well made. No discoloration or flaws. Thick enough without being bulky. Worked well in the application I needed them for, and at a decent price. Smooth, not rough.

3/8" not straight and don't take a stain well
I wanted to stain these but they took a stain very unevenly and look mottled. I have stained other bamboo dowels just fine. Also some are warped. They are usable. I will paint over the stain. The warping will probably be okay for my intended purpose. (yes, I know preconditioning wood is sometimes needed but other bamboo dowels have taken stain beautifully)
