We have been making candles for years and colorized multiple as specialty items. Found this company and ordered multiple black dye blocks for our Halloween candle. Made multiple batches and later found out the dye was defective and suffocated the flame. Had to refund all of our customers. Reached out to the company and was told it was our fault. Explained I had done side by side tests as well as made candles using another companies dye and they always turn out perfect. Don’t buy this product. Will not turn black using less dye like the company wants you to do. You will have light gray, not black. BEWARE!!

Some candles look green when melted.

This product has continued to disappoint me. First, it wouldn’t melt. I spent about 15 minutes mixing it into my wax and still couldn’t get it fully melted. Once the candles dried, there was a tremendous amount of cracking on the surface. I re-melted all of them multiple times and still couldn’t get rid of the cracks. After looking past that, I burned the candles and they burnt unevenly! Extremely unimpressed. Especially after using these to make candles as Christmas presents
