One million stars out of 10!!! Sooo easy to install!! Saves a ton of money!!
The touch screen on my 2019 CTS stopped working shortly after some powdered sports drink blew into the dash area. I was super bummed that I wasn't able to use most of the features such as navigation, selecting music, Apple Play, etc, etc. I didn't want to pay the $1400 plus to have it fixed professionally. After I found this product on Amazon and reading the great reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. I was hesitant to install it myself as I fully anticipated the dash to not end up like it was before I took it apart to install the new screen. I have often had that experience taking apart the dash because of all the intricate clips and screws. This screen was unbelievably easy to install!! Everything fit back together perfectly. Instantly I had full functionality of the Cue touch screen. I couldn't be happier. I saved a ton of money and the touch screen works better than ever!! Sooooo highly recommended!!!

So much worth it
I had the same problem in 2017 and I paid the dealer $1,376. This time I did it myself and the cost was $75 including tax. I'm not a professional and all I did was watching a few videos on YouTube. Although it's an easy job but it needs some time if you're like me, never done something likethatbefore. I would say 2 hours max to complete the job. No hard work just many screws and clips to remove and put them back. If I could do it then you can do it as well. After installing the new screen, I tried it and it works like the one I bought from the dealer except that the dealer replaced the whole CUE and I saved $1,300 CAD.

Parfait fit et facile à installer
Très facile à installer si vous êtes une personne manuel après avoir regardé les bonnes vidéos pour savoir comment faire. J'ai pris 22 minutes Exactement pour le démontage et la réinstallation.

Works and looks like the original
This is not an easy install (and at the time of this review there were no instructions provided by the seller) even though I consider myself an avid electronic DIY installer, but it is doable following a youtube video. The tricky part is, taking out the unit itself, which I did the day before. It took me about about 1-1.5hr total to replace the entire screen.MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE CORRECT MODEL, I have a 2016 ATS but the head unit was replaced by the previous owner with a newer (2018)model, so it's important to take the unit out and check the serial number on the back before ordering this screen. The compatible model's serial number should start with an 8, and if it starts with a 2 then this screen may not be compatible as the connectors are different. Also take a note of the direction of the connector before unplugging it, you will thank me later.I will update this review if I start having issues with it, so far very happy with it. It just the seller needs to provide proper instructions with it.

Not a 2 hour job but the results are excellent
This screen is for the specified vehicles with a 2018 model module or newer. My vehicle is actually a 2015 CTS, but it had the module replaced at some point and now has the 2018 module, so I had to get this screen when the touchscreen gel started spider-webbing, even after already being replaced for the same issue. That's GM quality for you!Everyone says that it's a 2 hour job, but I really doubt most people will be able to pull that off. It's more like a 4 hour job if you do it yourself. You also have the option of having a mechanic do it and they will probably bill you around $500.If you take it to the dealer the running rate I last heard was $1300 dollars labor and parts. The dealer will replace the entire module with a new one that has the same flawed screen design as the old module which will fail in 2 or 3 years. Wow, thanks GM!Or, you can use your own labor, have it fixed with $40 and a day's work, and the screen will never spider-web again! However, if you are not comfortable working on your vehicle or lack the tools to properly do so, please seek a reputable mechanic.
