Grindmaster-Cecilware D15-4 Crathco Classic Bubbler Pre-Mix Cold Beverage Dispenser, Electric Single Unit with Plastic Side Panels & Drip Tray

This is the 3rd Crathco we've placed in service. These units are well built little workhorses that are easy to operate and easy to clean up. Crathco's products are great, but what really impressed me was the service. We believe we had an electrical issue that may have resulted in the incorrect voltage being sent to the unit, and it quit cooling. We contacted Chef's Exclusive and they immediately sent us a return label for the damaged unit and priority shipped us a replacement unit. The communication was excellent (super-responsive, even during non-business hours), and the service they provided was above and beyond. We can't thank these guys enough for getting us up and running in time for our big event!

I ordered 2 units they came without the 5 gallons dispenser very disappointed I’m sending them back

I bought this to replaced another non-refrigerated dispenser for parties I host. The valve in my old dispenser failed closed if something clogged it. This D15-4 fails open! Meaning, if something (pulp) gets stuck in the hole while dispensing, there's no way to stop the fluid from coming out with the handle. You have to open the top of the unit, and press the weight down from inside. There's no way to force the valve shut from the outside. So it's quite easy to accidentally evacuate the entire 5 gallon reservoir onto the counter/table/floor. Seems there may be a $70-90 accessory that should help prevent this by adding more weight. For what it's worth, the "pulp" that caused this unit to clog 3x: pureed frozen strawberries (pureed with Blendtec syrup/soup function). It does its job cooling beverages! Vibrations in the motor/compressor may cause the handle to rattle, which is quite annoying.

I would have given it five stars but the item arrived without the five gallon bowl gasket. I was kind of disappointed but I did order it separately and it should be arriving in a few days.
