Beautiful colors, and super soft/light!
I do love this yarn - only giving it four stars because it does tend to twist a bit while working, making sections pretty thin - this didn’t affect my finished piece in a negative way, though. It’s also a little slippery, being so soft and only one-stranded. The colors are GORGEOUS and I love that there’s a fairly gradual change in colors - makes it fun to work with and makes amazing designs! I just finished, washed, and dried a poncho for my mother-in-law (pictured: color - “tidal”) and used almost 4 skeins with a 6.50 hook. Now I’m working on one to (hopefully) sell with the color “sunrise” and I ordered 5 skeins in case I want to add fringe. Word to the wise - stick this in your cart, but hit “save for later” and check back for sales. The skeins of “sunrise” were $3.30 for just over a day then went back up to nearly $9, I think Michael’s sells them for ~$5 unless they’re on sale.

I LOVE this yarn
I LOVE this yarn! It is a roving (thick in some places, thin in others) yarn with beautiful jewel tone colors! I crochet and have made a broomstick scarf, and (currently) a bohemian style vest/jacket with it. I have received nothing but compliments! This yarn has a great sheen to it and will give a "wool" like appearance. It is 100% acrylic. However, I do recommend this yarn for those that are Intermediate or Expert in skill set. This is NOT the type of yarn that you can crochet (or knit) a project, and change your mind. The yarn will get fuzzy and stick to the stitches below. Frogging it should never be an option if you want this yarn to continue to look beautiful. On another note...it is NOT recommended to rewind this yarn into a center pull ball. You run the risk of it sticking to itself and breaking if it is wound too tightly. So far, I have not had any issues with knots or breakage in the yarn balls. Also, if you have a tight crochet or knitting stitch, you can break this yarn. It is best to crochet it with a light stitch. If you heed my advice, you can create some of the most beautiful items with this yarn.

Beautiful, but hard to work with
This yarn is gorgeous and so soft! However its not 100% the same size/weight throughout, so you’re stitches will have a size difference. Its very hard to frog! Even if you're only pulling out a few stitches. You basically have to take a tiny pair of scissors and cut tiny little pieces that make frogging almost impossible. Gorgeous yarn just hard to work with. Hope you dont make any mistakes on your project lol

LOVE this yarn!
Edit: there are a number of reviews that negatively mention the thick & thin aspect of this yarn. I personally love that part of it and feel it adds interest to my project. If it’s a quality control issue as one reviewer stated, I’m disappointed because I wouldn’t want this yarn to be any other way. This is the first time I’ve used the Unforgettable yarn, but I’ve just bought it in two other colors for shawls. I’m almost done with the baby blanket and love this yarn as much now as I did when I started it. Original review: I don’t leave reviews because of the controversy surrounding them (whether or not they’re genuine), but I have to make an exception for this yarn. It is an absolute dream to work with! My baby blanket is coming together so easily, and the yarn feels so soft and fluffy. I’m using a simple shell stitch and will make a border of just single crochet stitches to let the yarn itself shine. Can’t wait until it’s done!

beautiful color gradient
I am delighted with this yarn, the color is fabulous, just the right blend of deep fall hues for a small cowl I am knitting. The yarn is a roving type so it's very soft to the touch, you just need to be careful while working up your piece to avoid fraying the yarn. I use either metal straight needles or bamboo circular, depending on the effect. The pattern I'm using recommends a size 6 needle but, I want a looser more open stitch, so I'll be using a size 9 circular needle to avoid any seams on this piece. Wonderfully soft and the perfect color for fall. I would recommend to anyone wanting to experiment with this type of yarn.

Good yarn but color not as shown.
The yarn was great quality, but unfortunately the color was nowhere near what was shown on the website. Very disappointed in the color.

I loved using this yarn! It is a little fluffy so not for beginners as it doesn’t unpick easy but it is beautiful when made up

The quality of the yarn is very different from that bought from Amazon USA. parts of the yarn is hardened and "crackles" when the hook goes thru it, like a hardened elastic band when you have not worn it for a long time. Totally lost the softness

looks like a wool yarn, but has all the softness of an acrylic. Be careful! it has a dye lot. All the ones in my package (12) were the same dye lot (big thank you to the shipping dept :) ) It has some small thickness differences to simulate wool, but not very big. (no so big that you will have trouble working the yarn, it is not a rustic looking yarn) Each ball is individually wrapped in a sealed bag (very nice, the yarn was therefore clean and fluffy (they used air pocket bags, so it acted like a personal airbag for each ball) I bought Tidal/Maréé and the colour variation is really lovely. The colour is very clean, clear and vibrant, but also elegant. I am going to do tunisian crochet so I will use a 6.5mm hook instead of the recommended 6mm in the hopes it curls less than TC has curled on me in the past. I did a guage test and it was very light (not quite opaque) at that hook size, but it curls very little on a basic stitch. It is very smooth and pulls through beautifully. I wish I could knit it with my turbo needles, it would go so fast I would have to race to keep up! (but I have chosen the project, so maybe next time) The only issue was that when I came to pull out my guage test the yarn didn't pull out easily, the surface fibers catch on each other, so it is hard to unknit (tink). This might be a good feature if you drop a stitch, it is unlikely to run all the way down before you catch it, but if you are still learning and need to pull your work often, this would be heart-breaking, as you really have to tug at it to let go. I wish you happy stiches !
