The books give you an idea of what to expect on the exam in terms of format, structure and difficulty , as well as learning to recognize and handle trick questions . The answers given are very comprehensive ( to the point of being exhaustive at times) and represent a good summary of the subject dealt with on the question although i wouldn't recommend relying solely on them for studying but rather using them as an adjunct to it. Definitely highly recommended to anyone preparing for MRCPCH! Review: Good book

i was advised by colleagues to use both M .Beattie's books during my preparation for the MRCPCH step 1 and they did not prove wrong !
