HBTower Step Ladder, Folding Step Stool with Wide Anti-Slip Pedal, Sturdy Steel Ladder, Convenient Handrail, Lightweight, Portable Steel Step Stool

This step stool is AWESOME! I'm older and don't have good balance nor am I very strong. So climbing up is not a favorite thing to do. BUT... no fears on this step stool. Light enough to carry around but very sturdy and steady to feel safe and secure climbing up on it. My favorite thing is with the straight back you can face forward when working on a project instead of sideways. Also, it locks in when open and its easy to fold close. Although my husband has 3 outdoor ladders, he has been borrowing my step stool because he says he can be hands free and it has no jiggle like his ladders do.

Very sturdy and well-made, but it’s heavy

It is sturdy but I was looking for something that would fit between the wall and the refrigerator. The tool or utility tray is not flush with the frame. It extends out about an inch. If the tray had fit within the top frame opening, the ladder would be easy to place in narrow areas.

Purchased this and it arrived today. I am considering returning this ladder because though it has wide steps the steps overlap so much that there is really not much useable area of the steps as the next step above prevents using more area of the steps for better standing stability. The results in just having a small portion on the EDGE of the steps to stand on. The rest of the wide steps is a total waste. The ladder is well made, stable & not hard to do the little bit required to finish putting the ladder together.

I am a senior and bought this for sturdiness and light weight. It delivers on both qualities! I would recommend and also buy again. Very happy with this step stool.

When fully opened, it's got a little wobble; that's disappointing. The top tray seems a bit flimsy, but overall it is a very nice step ladder. I am tall and heavier set, but it feels very sturdy and I mostly feel safe on it.

It's a good sturdy step ladder. However, it doesn't come fully assembled which I found odd. The top section with the tool shelf & brackets has to be assembled onto the rest of the ladder. The tube frame is a little difficult to piece together as the top piece is a little narrower than the rest of the tubing. If it was fully assembled or easier to put together i would have given 5 stars. Frustration deducted a bit.

After placing an order for the HBTower ladder with no guardrails, I noticed they had one with Guardrails. I have 9" ceilings in our condo and our smoke alarms need batteries from time to time. I feel a lot safer on the top steps with the guardrails. To me, the difference in price between no guardrails and guardrails is well worth the investment. The ladder is well made and I feel secure on it. The last step locks the ladder in place for security. The only downside is that sturdiness makes it a little heavy and my wife would have a problem with the weight carrying it from room to room. Assembly is easy and wrenches are provided. I'm pleased with my purchase.
