Fungarium Postcards

Really nice postcards. Would buy again.

Very beautiful and of high quality. There were quite a lot of "ugly" and uninteresting illustrations though, which is a shame.

as of leaving this review-there are no pictures on the description for these cards-but as I had purchased the flower ones from KEW (which are lovely) I thought I was onto a winner-well, what a fool i was, the box depicts all the fungus on a light background-but well over half in the pack are on a dark, and I mean DARK background-the fungi are also printed darkly (and also quite indistinctly, so not fuzzy but the edges arent sharp) and from only about a foot away you cant tell whats on them-waste of time , sent back-lesson learnt-you cant guarantee that if you buy the products from the same company they are as good as each other!

These are good quality cards with good quality reproductions in a lovely presentation box. I’ve knocked one star off because some of the pictures are rather narrative, ie a scene and I was expecting diagrams of lots of types of fungi. That said, the child for whom I bough the cards loved these scenes just as much as the diagrams.

Wonderful postcards but cut badly: edge of one card visible on edge of next card. Was going to get refund but didn’t want them thrown away as genuinely beautiful & would be so wasteful BUT less than perfect.

I was a little disappointed with this collection.
