I’ve owned Zamberlan and Salmon before but absolutely love these boots, they are perfect for my wide feet and I love the red laces too. They took a couple of walks to properly break in but now they fit like a glove and are super comfortable. They handled trekking the Himalayan foothills perfectly- waterproof and zero blisters, would definitely buy again.

Comfortable fit straight out of the box... how often can you say that with new walking boots??? I bought my normal shoe size which is a perfect wide fit with a big, well protected toe-box. With some thick walking socks these are like comfy slippers. Well waterproofed, thick sole with good tread, they've done well in mud, ice and snow so far. Really long, strong laces allow you to strap your ankles in despite the looser toe. No complaints, will buy again.

If you have a wide front foot, this is perfect for you. I ordered half a size larger to wear with thick socks. Comfortable and looks durable. It comes with a pair of spare red laces. Took one star off because the red shoe lace was damaged.

Good quality leather, great fit and no blisters even on first walk. Have wore these daily for dog walking and general about the garden and I must say they are great. Purchased the waterproofing to extend life of boots and it definitely helps. Given how good these boots are I would buy again.

On my third pair of these. Comfy straight from the box. Good grip and waterproof. I would be tempted to go half a size down Still room for thick socks and a generous toe box.

I bought the boots primarily for dog walking and then decided to climb Kilimanjaro. The high ankle support made these boots ideal BUT after wearing them at the weekends for a couple of months, the soles started to peel away. I spotted this the day before flying to Tanzania. They were glued and stitched by one of the porters, and got me to the summit and back. They are now squeaking with each step I take and the sole is peeling away in other places. A real shame. Keen really need to sort out their sole production issues as this flaw is detracting from the quality I associate with the brand.

Bought 1/2 size above my normal size for a 2 week hiking holiday in the mountains, walked on stony paths , in muddy fields, and also in icy conditions. They worked perfectly. They remain dry and are very comfortable. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: After less than five months of normal wear the sole on these boots started to come apart (see pics). I am so disappointed as they were the most comfortable and waterproof walking boots I've ever had. If this fault was rectified they would be a brilliant pair of boots but with the sole as it is they are simply not fit for purpose. Original review: I needed to get some new walking boots in a hurry after my nearly new boots from a well known outdoor store leaked like a sieve and had to be returned. These boots are in roughly the same price bracket as my previous ones but are much better quality: the leather and build are both excellent. I have worn them for about 50-60 miles of very wet and muddy walks so far and they have proved very comfortable from day one, totally waterproof and to have excellent grip. I also like that they come up a bit higher at the back than most boots I've had, which is more practical in wet conditions. I did find them a bit stiff to start with, especially around the ankle, but they soon softened and moulded to my feet and have never rubbed or caused blisters. Size wise, I have wide feet and would normally wear a 6.5/7 so I went for the size 7 in these (EU40 according to the Keen size chart). They are a little bit big, particularly around the heel, so I have to wear thicker socks than I'd really like and lace them up tight to stop movement. But this seems to be working out OK. If I was buying them again I might try a half size smaller. All in all, a lovely pair of boots and I hope they last a few hundred miles of winter walking.

These boots are very comfortable and fit my slightly wide feet perfectly. Ideal for all terrains, keeps water, sand and mud out! It took me a few days to break them in.

Sehr bequem und sehen gut aus. Nach zwei Stunden wandern mit dem Hund kein Fußschmerzen, allerdings Reibung in der Höhe des Fußgekenks links. Hier denke ich, daß das Leder noch ein wenig weicher wird.

ブラックを購入。中敷きは普段自分が使用しているものに交換しましたが、そのままでも良かったかもしれません。いつものサイズ37、23.5-24くらいで、厚手ソックスで24cmでぴったりでした。幅は少し狭めかも知れませんが、先が丸いので当たりは無かったです。とても履きごごちが良く購入して良かったです。チェルシーも持っていますがチェルシーは先が少し細くて厚手ソックスだと小指が少しキツいかなと思いました。可愛いし履き心地も最高。普段履きなので靴紐はゴムの靴紐に交換し、脱ぎ履きも簡単にできるのでストレス無しです。
