Android TV Box , X96 Air Android 9.0 TV Box 4GB RAM 32GB ROM with Amlogic S905X3 Quad-Core Supports 2.4G 5G Dual WiFi/6K/BT 5.0 /3D/USB 2.0/H.265 Smart TV Box

I bought this to replace a failing MBOX T95 and to have something with bluetooth. Whilst I was impressed with the overall quality of the hardware I have had to return it due to 3 serious flaws.1. The google play store is very out of date on it. This would not normally be a problem but it won't update. I have previously had this issue on tv boxes and usually replacing the apk manually does the trick but I could not sideload any version of the play store and since the box isn't rooted I could not replace the apk using a file copy, or via adb.2. Even though I connected the play store to my account (checked and rechecked) for some reason it was not showing any of my previously purchased apps and expecting me to buy them again! This did not happen on my last android tv box.3. Googled play is showing some quite common apps as incompatible. This includes bbc iplayer and My5 (yes I have my location / region set to uk). I could sideload most of these but my kids watch a lot of disney + and unfortunately even when sideloading this app it doesn't work on this box (no sound except when chosing audio description from the language options). I tried may fixes including changing surround sound settings which is apparently a common issue with this app but nothing worked.

This is hands down the best bang for the buck android box! The UI is great and easy to use and the controller is good! The picture is really good and the box even has a mini display at the front for time! Best Android Box! Would Definitely Recommend!

For £35 you get what you pay for really. An average android box. That's said its Ideal for first time buyers. Easy enough to set up. As with most stock android boxes from China, it comes with a very basic generic remote. So worth upgrading and buying an Air Mouse Remote.Personally I'd recommend getting a Cube or 4k firestick (when either are on offer) Or Mecool boxes are very good, but only available from America or China. So there's about 2/3 week wait for Mecool devices.** Unfortunately this box I had was faulty, kept turning off. So returned and amazon refunded straight away. Good service. I've since ordered an A95x F3 Air ll from banggood in America. Still waiting at the minute but it's supposed to be a really good little budget box. Usual RRP is around £50, but banggood selling at £35.

Bought this to run as a cheap way to run Coreelec. Already got some s922x boxes but read that these are almost as good and more future-proof. Worked great. Wiped Android and used ceemmc function and works without a glitch. Followed the online guide to program the remote. All perfect. Would highly recommend.

I will make it clear that its primary use for me is the usb drive for 4K HDR movies which it is fantastic at so I now have three x96 boxes 2 0f them are not air but the are exactly the same. I tried another type of Andoid box but it was terrible so I sent it back and ordered the air box and it was delivered next day [Prime]

Worked perfectly right out the box. I'm using it as a music server with the spdif audio and a 128GB samsung card and the pre-loaded k-player software, it plays and sounds amazing. Highly recommend this player!

The box constantly reboots with the media box launcher crashing , apart from that good boxes if you have the knowledge to replace the firmware to stop the crashes and reboots
