works great
used this on my 4 wheeler to run my GPS, i use a Garmin nuvi 5 1/2 inch screen it fit in perfect with the supplied foam, the mount works really good, i put it on my front rack it kept the gps very clean and dust free, if you get it in just right its pretty easy to see except when it really dusty, but thats not the cases fault, i would def recommend for a 4 wheeler or motorcycle, i will try it this year on my snowmobile cause its the same trails

Case seems well made and is easy to mount.
This was extremely easy to mount on my motorcycle. It comes with several foam boards of differing sizes to fill the space behind your GPS unit so that it makes contact with the plastic screen protector in front. The zipper concerns me a little. It is water resistant, but it is very stiff in the cold and it seems like it might not hold up real well if you are frequently removing the GPS unit at the end of your rides. The one purchase I do recommend is getting a USB cord that will connect to your GPS at a right angle. My GPS unit has a USB charging port that is off-center, and this case has room for a charging wire that is dead center. Whether you use the foam insert boards or not, there is NOT enough room for a USB charging cord to stick out of the back of your GPS unit unless it has a right-angle connector.

Great case for mounting my Garmin to my trike's handlebars
I got this to use with my Garmin nüvi 55LM GPS unit. There's tons more space depth-wise in this case than needed for the newer, thinner GPS units, but ChargerCity has thoughtfully provided a stack of hard foam inserts to take up the unused space behind the GPS. But because the Garmin unit has the power plug in the back of the unit, rather than at the bottom, as this case is designed for, you'll need to use a sharp box cutter or X-acto knife to cut a rectangular opening through all the foam inserts and the back of the case in order to plug the GPS power in. While my electric trike doesn't have a 12-volt adapter for the on-board lithium battery, I have a PowerGen 13000mAh External Battery Pack which I use to make sure I can use the GPS as long as I need to while riding. I keep the battery pack in a BIRUGEAR Hard Shell Carrying Case attached with the included carabiner clip to my trike's front basket and with a short USB cord attaching it to the Garmin to keep it charged. The BIRUGEAR case also fits BOTH the Garmin AND the battery pack inside, one on each side, so both can be kept together when carrying them into the house after a ride. While this GPS case attaches to the handlebars firmly, the ball-and-socket attachment to the back of the case allows the GPS to gradually slide until the screen is pointed down, which can be annoying. Also, the "security screw" broke the first time I used it. Although the case has never fallen off, I use a BV TSA-Accepted, Set-Your-Own Combination Travel Lock and a 53cm Onguard Akita Loop Cable to attach the case to the handlebars. The lock's cable fits through the holes in the case's zipper. This makes the case more secure, especially when I place my helmet over the case so it can't be seen when I park. Now you may not want to trust this method to prevent having your GPS from being stolen, but I live in a very small town and leaving my trike like this parked outside the grocery store isn't much of a risk for the 5 or 10 minutes it takes me to shop. I wouldn't, however, leave it for much longer, since the case could be slit open with a knife to steal the Garmin. While in bigger cities people tend to ignore criminal activity that they witness, in a small town like mine, the criminal is likely to be challenged by the honest citizens, and no matter where you are in town, the sheriff's office is never more than a mile or two away. Some people in my small town even feel safe enough to leave their homes, bikes, and GPS units unlocked day and night, but I grew up outside a big city and I'm more cautious, especially during tourist season.

You can pay $650 for a Motorcycle GPS, or buy the $89 GPS and buy this!
I have use a standard Garmin GPS with lifetime free updates for several years on my motorcycles. They cost about $80, vs the "Motorcycle Garmin" my friends buy for $650. I rarely ride in the rain, so in the past I just slipped a sandwich bag over it on the rare occasions I hit bad weather. So, I finally bought one of these. It works great. Don't waste your money on the motorcycle GPS, just get the standard one and if you ride in the rain buy one of these.

CAN'T SEE GPS SCREEN
I don't know if this case will actually keep water off the GPS. What I can say is the quality of workmanship is especially poor when it comes to how the clear window is sewn into the case. The plastic window was sewn in a way that caused it to be wavy, and the undulated surface - which is not anti-reflective - catches and reflects light so that the screen of the GPS cant be seen no matter the relative angle of the sun or time of day. I cant even see the screen at night. This is a clever idea that is poorly executed and not at all worth the price.

The case was easy to mount on the handlebars of my Yamaha Roadstar ...
Just finished a 10 day 4,300 mile trip using this GPS case every mile of the way. It fit my Garmin Nuvi perfectly and protected it through several small rain showers. Rode through one torrential downpour and a little bit of moisture did find its way into the case, but the same downpour also soaked through my rain gear and waterproof bags as well. Really, it was not a big deal and would not prevent me from recommending the product. The case was easy to mount on the handlebars of my Yamaha Roadstar 1600 and very securely held the GPS in place. I had one 50 mile stretch of road that was incredibly rough and the mount would not hold the GPS in position, but I blame the incredibly rough road (it was terrible). For the rest of the trip there was absolutely no issue with the GPS being held in position. I would highly recommend this product and would definitely buy it again
