GACE Art Education Sample Test 109, 110 Teacher Certification Test Prep Study Guide (XAM GACE)

I passed both Art Ed I and II at the Professional Level. This book was helpful, together with the sample test at the website, in that it helped me to understand the breadth of subjects covered. I used both to not only learn the answers to the questions, but to find out more about the wrong answers.For instance, in a question that asks "which artist said 'such and such,'" I would look more not only at that artist, but the other artists listed as well as the period in which they worked. All the questions have not only the right answer but other answers that are the right answer to a question not asked, and it was helpful to run all of those down. Also, I watched a lot of art history and art making vids on youtube.Hope that helps, and good luck!

Has the answer to the question right beside the question instead of in the back like every other practice test book ever written. I had to cut out little pieces of post it note to cover the answers so I could read the question without seeing the answer immediately. I would not recommend this book.

This was written in 2007 the current GACE test has changed. I have taken the REAL GA GACE test 2 times as of now bought on rush delivery thought it would have pictures of the art but it doesn't.I have taken the test twice not one of the questions in the book is on the test. Do not buy this book go to quizlet and study there don't waste money on book. I had it rushed and could have bought a tank of gas versus this book. DO NOT BUY- IT IS OUT DATED!!!!!!!!

I was disappointed when I received this product. I thought it would be a study guide for the GACE II Art Education. The only thing this book does is give a (one) sample question of each category. It isn't even enough information for you to study by. What a waste of time and money!!! And it wasn't a sample either!

This book is clearly not affiliated with the official GACE prep material. Someone has just looked up the list of standards covered in the test and made up their own questions (and they were also clearly made by someone who doesn't know about art). Several of the questions are just downright wrong, others don't make any sense at all, and there were quite a few spelling errors. This book is highly unofficial and WILL NOT help you prepare to take the GACE.

This book is horrible. It didn't help to prepare me at all! Don't waste your money!! I guess I should have bought the other book for $39.00 because this one was of no help!
