Can't say if it's any use for curtains. I'm sure it probably is. But what it is excellent for is using to clean car drain holes that get blocked with seeds and leaves and general tree clutter. It's very flexible laterally but stiff end on so it fits down pipes to the blockage but can still poke out the crud. It's plastic coated so it wipes clean and it's cheap. Perfect for the job. If not exactly the job intended!

In the Summer, the dog likes to be in and outside BUT I HATE FLIES WITH A PASSION! So I put up door length Voile curtains and use these curtain wires to hang them above the doors. Fresh air in and Most of the time FLIES OUT!
