Amazing little device!
I bought this as an inexpensive alternative to my larger laptops to use for game night to save on table space, and I've been nothing but impressed. The performance is amazing, the screen displays great, it is lightweight, and the battery lasts for like 12 hours of continuous use. Granted, the functionality is somewhat limited if you want more than a browser interface, but there's so much you can do with just the Google suite of tools. I get my data from Drive, edit with Docs or Sheets, open my PDFs, and look up whatever. For the price, it's an incredible deal. It's probably worth double it's price.

Serves its purpose
This is smaller than my previous Chromebook, but I think it will be great for traveling and it will still do the job as I do a lot of documents and typing. I haven't used it yet for any continuous length of time so I can't comment on the battery life. It was effortless to get it going and it synced all my data from my previous Chromebook so I don't have to redo all my bookmarks or anything like that. It also synced with my printer and I've already printed a page. Though it's a bit smaller than I am used to, it looks like it will be a great laptop. I'm very happy that I bought it.

Works great for what I needed!
I ordered this back in 2022 and now, 2025, the charging port is not holding the cable well, therefore it is not charging like it has been. Not sure if it is worth fixing that part since I got this for relatively cheap to do basic net surfing, banking online, watching movies on Prime and Youtube, etc. It works great for those purposes and I wish the charging port is not loose because I really like how compact and light this chromebook is. It is worth the money for how long it has lasted.

Great quality
Awesome for the price . The battery life is great, screen quality is what you pay for . Mousetrackpad is responsive my only grip is they could have used a softer material for the trackpad . Im 1000% happy with my purchase. I scratched my screen on like day 2 of using it and can barely tell because it was made so well to be sturdy .

Works fine, using now to write this review.
I have a Windows laptop and a pretty powerful Samsung smartphone, but this Chromebook gets used a lot. I have it beside my easy chair and often will be on it while I am watching something on TV. I don't need much processing power for checking things out on the Web. My Firestick answers to Alexa, but my phone and Chromebook both stick their heads up when I say, "OK Google" and that is a problem sometime when I want OK Google to pull something up on my phone, but my Chromebook hears my request and "trumps" me talking to my phone. I just have to whisper to my phone so my Chromebook doesn't hear. I can save files on this Chromebook and I can create and edit Wordpress web pages from it. YouTube videos play well.

Best Amazon purchase ever!
This is probably the most utilized item I’ve ever gotten from Amazon. Why spend hundreds or even thousands in a store just to use basic Internet? I use this almost every day for School and entertainment. I love it simplicity, It’s so light I can take it anywhere. There’s a good battery life and it’s so fast.

Not what I had in mind
My dissatisfaction with this Chromebook has more to do with my uninformed expectations than it does with any shortcomings in the actual product. I was looking for a better tablet, something with a real keyboard that I could do my writing on. Problem is, I didn't appreciate that a Chromebook isn't really a standalone device, it's just a glorified web browser in laptop form. Sure, as long as I'm in Wi-Fi range of a public access point I can use Google Docs, but I wanted something I could use at the park or while out on the road. I also wanted to run LibreOffice, which you can't do on Chromebook, because, again, it's just a glorified web browser. As to the actual device, I found the screen to be less than ideal. My Fire tablet has a much better screen; the Samsung screen comes off looking a bit blurry in comparison. The screen is not touch-sensitive, which didn't bother me, but the touchpad for cursor control doesn't have mouse buttons, and I had issues with the button-click emulation. I did like the overall design -- simple and to the point. Overall, though, this isn't going to work for me; I'll see if someone in the family can use it. The next time I have the money, I'll look at either a low-end laptop or an Android device. I can only give this three stars.

Works great
This is my wife's third chromebook (over the past 8 years). The others have been problematic in some fashion or another. I bought her a real laptop, but she just wouldn't take the time to try to learn a new operating system, so when the last one became so unreliable, I found this one on sale and am really impressed. Seems quite durable, and set up was so much easier than the other two. It basically set itself up regarding linking her e-mail and internet favorites. Highly recommend for a simple, inexpensive chromebook.
