Hario V60 Glass Coffee Dripper, Size 02, Olive Wood

I've had this pour over coffee dripper for about a year and I still love it. I use it 5-6 times a day with paper filters and it makes a perfect cup every time. The olive wood is still gorgeous and it has bowed since I bought it, but that happens when applying boiling hot water and steam to wood, and frankly I'm glad it doesn't have a thick coating of epoxy or polyurethane to seep into my morning mug of joe. Good product!

Granted, I had to wait for it to be shipped all the way from Japan (duh, Hario :) ) but it was so worth it! I ordered it for my husband for Christmas and it was a killer gift! Not only it’s beautiful and stylish, most important it makes a great pour over :) highly recommend ❤️

Great alternative to the plastic V60. I used the plastic V60 for years due to it's good heat coefficient. I eventually wanted something that looked and felt more high quality (and wasn't made from plastic) so I opted for the glass over the ceramic. This one looks good and brews just as well as the plastic V60. The main difference is you need to be more intentional about preheating both the brewer and whatever decanter you use as there will be less heat retention. I wrap my brewer in a wet paper towel and put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds before brewing and it has greatly improved my extraction.

Works perfectly

I have been making pour-over coffee for decades. The ceramic drippers, while good, generally have small bases that don't fit today's larger mugs. The openings at their bases are also small, making the drip process take so long that the coffee is only warm by the end of the process. This glass dripper with the olive wood base has a substantially larger opening that allows the coffee to flow faster. The rubber gasket along with the wood base seals the heat in the mug, keeping it much warmer than would normally be the case. Washing it is easy as it comes apart. My suggestion is to wash and dry the gasket immediately after use to avoid mold accumulating, as others have reported. I have kept my previous dripper as a backup, but I doubt I'll need it for a long, long time.

Man, if you own this thing, you are drinking coffee in style my friend. The v60 is a highly recommend pour over. I was set to purchase the original one then saw this beauty. If I could give it 100 stars I would I love mine SO MUCH. The glass is extremely thick, which is great. The wood is very nicely sealed so I don't think it will be warping anytime soon. The rubber gasket is also thick and of good quality. I just give this a rinse in warm water after every use, set it to dry, and it's good to go. If you're thinking about getting this but worried about the money...go for it! It's worth it! So beautiful! Makes amazing coffee <3

The glass drip is much better than plastic. The olive tree gives warm and more living sensations. Basically I make one cup of coffee but sometimes requires a second one, so size 02 is the best choice for me. Feel the taste, make a coffee, have a fun...

J’en suis très content, j’utilisais une chemex jusqu’à présent mais je préfère l’utilisation des V60 de Hario. Par dessus tout j’aime beaucoup l’esthétique de ce produit.

Hario has a matching can. Together it's one of the few options without plastic, which was the reason for me to choose it. Between the wood and the glass there is some silicone that doesn't need to touch the water or coffee. Although Hario originally made glass lab equipment, there is probably a limit to how strong glass can be. And of course wood is impractical for a coffee dripper. You need to dry off any water immediately after use. And sometimes you need to disassemble the silicone ring from the wood. But I find myself smiling when doing that. Hario V60 is one of the best coffee drippers and this is probably their most beautiful set. I'm unsure how many years the wood will last, but I really hope a replacement part will be available when it ever breaks..
