Outstanding strippers. I was skeptical at first, but now have used for 2 months and without adjusting the tension screw at all I've stripped dozens of 12-14 gauge romex wires, and many dozens of solid/stranded 28 ga up to 18 ga. I've found you can stick 2 wires (18 ga and smaller that is) in at once and strip both at same time. Cutter works good, and have used the crimper a couple of times and it makes a proper crimp that curls both side of the metal sleeve inwards properly instead of just crushing it flat like standard cheap strippers. Soft "rubber" on handles is nice and "grippy", and long handles give a good leverage. The only problem I have had is one type of romex (10 ga) that had an additional clear, hard, slippery outer coating over the insulation. I had to adjust the tension tighter to get the cutter to bite through this tough outer coating, but normal romex was fine.

Don't know how I managed for so long without these. They are extremely efficient and save huge amounts of time on wiring jobs. They even strip the outer sleeving off flex or power cable while leaving the wire underneath completely unharmed. Time taken to strip a flex and the insulation on the conductors is about 10 seconds if you are not in a hurry

Very good well made tool. It strips fine wire and larger cables neatly and accurately. Don't fiddle around with side cutters or knives buy this tool - you will not regret it.
