FLY London Women's Yaya Ankle-Strap Pump

it's the first time in a looooong time i've dropped this much money on a pair of shoes.. and it was almost worth it! i purchased these in white, and they are more of a tiny bit off-white, not bright white. as soon as i opened the box i realized they were even cooler in person than online, but the size is a little off!i read all the reviews from women who had FLY shoes on amazon, and the general consensus is: they run big. so i bought the size 39 (US size 8). i wear an 8 1/2-9, so i figured this would be perfect. but they are a tad snug! i am not sending them back because the european sizes don't really make half-sizes, and i feel like the 40 would be too big. so i hope i can stretch the extremely soft leather a bit and get them fitting right! my suggestion - go ahead and buy your size if you are a precise whole size or a tad bigger. if not, go with the shoe size smaller.

I purchased these in yellow and black. I read the reviews and knew they ran a bit small so I ordered up. Like many of the reviewers, I too am an in-between size - I am an 8.5 or 39 but I ordered a 40 (size 9.) At first they were a bit snug but stretched a bit after the first wear or two. I am on my feet about 4-5 hours at a time, and I walk a lot in NYC. So far no blisters or aching feet. These look cute with capris, skirts, and shorts - and you will receive tons of compliments. I am planning a trip to Europe this summer and wanted something stylish yet comfortable (and not look too touristy.) I found them in red on another website and ordered them as well. This is my first pair (style) of FLY London - but I plan on ordering more. (since writing this review I am on my second pair of both yellow and black - I also have silver/pewter too. Great shoes)

I like the snug fix, because they are leather they will give a little after wear. I have wide feet and find when I buy shoes wide they become to big after several wears, walking in this type of shoe is comfortable for me. If you have never wore a shoe with this type of sole your feet has to get adjusted to the sole, I am able to walk for eight or more hours and my feet feel wonderful. For me it was a good buy. P.S. had to order on amazon .they sold out on QVC.

I take 6 US, size 36 in these.My heel is narrow, and I have a bunion and hammer toe on my right foot.I get the straps adjusted at my shoe makers. I need 3/4 - 1 inch taken off the ankle strap, which is too wide around the ankle, if you have the same problem, take the amount off at the seam part of the strap and it will turn out perfect. I have bought 6 pairs of these( one I had a problem with a hole in the sole, that was many years ago).i have had women chase me to find out where I got my shoes.I am 65 and can wear these all day, I enjoy the height, the toe area is small enough to show some nail polish . The design of these shoes, makes the foot look slender.they feel light on my feet. They go with every outfit I feel like wearing. I highly recommend these sandals / shoes.

Every time I travel, women ask me where I got these shoes. Flight attendants probably ask me the most. A friend of mine turned me on to them and I have never looked back. I own two pairs of Fly shoes. These are perfect for spring, summer and fall. I've walked around cities on vacation and I have worked 12-14 hour days in them. And they are as comfortable in the first hour of wearing them as they are in the last hour. I highly recommend them.FYI In terms of sizing, I found that these ran a little big. It could be because of the velcro strap at the ankle and the opening at the back of the foot. I am usually a 71/2/ 8 and I bought the 38--which is typically considered a 7 in US sizing.

I am returning these shoes not only because they are too small but also because they are made in China and not in Portugal as the original FLY London Yaya shoes were and as was depicted in the Amazon.com website. In addition, they have a very strong smell of rubber cement or glue which makes me believe that they are not of the quality that I know these shoes can be. The leather is harder than those which my sister purchased as is usually the case with shoes made in China. I am extremely disappointed that you are selling a cheaper product than was promised by the pictures and description on Amazon.com. I want the shoes that are pictured. Why were they sent from PlanetShoes and not Amazon.com directly?Furthermore, I understood that I would not have to pay shipping on returns either. So I feel that I am losing when in good faith I expected the quality of what was promised me.How sad that our first transaction for shoes turned out so badly that I will probably not purchase shoes from youPlanetShoes or Amazon.com.

I think I can make these shoes work. The leather on the upper is super flat and tight. While the rest of the shoe is perfect, the uppers sort of squish your feet down. I can see them stretching though, so they're not going back.

I didn't wear the sandals yet. However, when I tried the sandals on a walked around the house I fell in love with them. I can tell they are gong to be my go to sandal for the summer. They felt so comfortable, I wind up purchasing a black pair for the summer. I also purchased the shoes in brown and black and the patent leather ankle boots to wear now. When I love how a shoe feels on my feet, I buy more in different colors and styles.

These are my first pair of Fly shoes but definately not my last! I ordered the Black Yaga Wedge Sandal - I was not too sure initially as I thought they might look a bit 'clumpy' but I absolutely love them! They are great for work as I have to do a far bit of commuting by foot - the wedge soles make them sooo comfortable as do the extremely soft leather. The wedge gives me a few extra inches in height (bonus) without the pain of wearing high heels. Also a great alternative to sandals bearing in mind the British weather. I am a size 5 and the size 5 fitted perfectly, I had no problems with the sizing at all. The only problem I have now is, what colour next!!

I have a bunion on my right foot, otherwise my foot width would be narrower, so these are great for me, they come up higher over my arch, I adore the small toe opening. (just enough toes showing). I hate large toe openings.I do have to adjust the ankle stap by an inch, there is a seam on the strap so taking out and inch is no problem, just adds to the cost. They are light weight. This is my 4th Pair, I had a black last year which I have just replaced by ordering a new pair (.com) as the sole developed a hole, so I will have owned 5 pairs total, in this style.

I saw these sandals and was instantly drawn to them, I've been wearing Fly London shoes for quite a few years now as they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wondered if the straps round the ankle would be too tight or the zip at the back would rub on these, but as usual they are super comfy.I'm usually a UK 6 but had to send them back in exchange for a UK 5 which are a perfect fit.

I like Fly shoes but never sure which size to order- this style was uncomfortably narrow across the top of my foot and I don't have wide feet - yet others find these too wide. Shame cos you can find a great range of styles and prices on line, this is a nice shoe but - for me at least - unwearable
