Good light
Best and brightest home led grow light I’ve used so far. No timer built in but if has a dimmer switch and dial, it’s alittle heavy but single person can lift it for install, gets warm but nothing a fan can’t fix, has worked well for multiple runs, definitely worth the money

good value
great light for my crop did notice a 200$ jump in electric bill the month i used it for vegetative instead of flowering. also puts out some heat

Excellent grow light, misleading advertising.
I posted a very long review that didn't get approved, so I'm going to make it short and sweet. This light draws 800w +/- 5% but the driver consumes 70w. So, 730w of LED power is what you're actually putting out. That being said, I have never had happier plants. I went from having an extremely hot tent with a 1,200w HPS to having a 5x5x6.5 tent that never cracks 85°, even with the exhaust fan turned to the minimum. The LED puts out less actual ePPF than my HPS but it's much wider spectrum and MUCH more evenly spread out. My entire tent at 12" doesn't get below 823ePPFD at the minimum. The average at 18" is 1,064ePPFD according to my quantum sensor, and 1,321 ePPFD average at 12". However I like to keep it at 18" so that the light spread it more even, and I don't want to burn my plants as I am not using supplemental CO2.Anyways, the driver thing was explained to me in an email from Mars. I got this grow light on sale for $560, so there's no way I could ever get a better deal on a light like this. My only gripe is that I bought it RIGHT before they put out the FC-E1000w which I would have rather purchased. Oh well, this one is still good for my purposes! If I decide to supplement CO2, I'll lower the light. My power use immediately dropped very significantly just from having this light for 2 weeks out of the power billing period. I'm glad, because power rates in my area are about to go from $0.1205/kWh to $0.24175/kWh at the start of January. I can always lower the light and dim it to cut energy consumption if necessary.I give the light a 5/5 in all categories, but like all companies; MarsHydro overstates the performance of their product. At 12" I only get a total of 1,933 ePPF and they advertise 2,100 PPF Which it seems is never the case in any reviews. As long as you're cool with that, this light grows plants like no fixture I have ever used. The 8 100w blurples from Marshydro that I was using 2016-2019 couldn't get anywhere near this performance or efficiency. Also, the efficiency is much lower than claimed by Marshydro. I get 2.416 EPPF/J. 1933/800=2.416. If we go by the output wattage, I get 2.65ePPF/J, which is less than the efficiency of 2.8 PPD/J that they advertise. All in all, I don't regret my purchase, I will save around $2,000 in the next year on my power bill because of it, and my flowers have never grown so densely and happily. Great job Marshydro, just be more realistic in your ads.Update 1/15/2023: This light has saved me $100 on my power bill compared to a 1200W HPS. My usage statement on November 13 was 1145kWh consumed, December was 13th statement was 1209kWh, This month's statement shows 687kWh consumed. The light will pay for itself in 4 more months. Then we're just saving money.

These lights are horrible!
So far it is going great! Was able to get wifi hooked easily and set up my app! Just make sure you are using your 2g wifi connection not the 5g when you hook to it and make sure you do the same with your phone so they can share a connection and do not forget to turn your phones Bluetooth on like I did at first lol my only problem was I thought I was missing pieces to the light but I found I received the upgraded light which does not use the wing nuts or wire hoop thingy. But I had gotten an older manual so I thought I was missing stuff, so just be aware and when you go to use the dimmer switch on the light, make sure to press the button by the daisy chain channels and plug in daisy chain chord to 1st channel. It wouldn't let me dim it otherwise until I had the app but otherwise it works flawlessly and my plants love it! We are definitely getting the larger midel once we get our house, but not much room so I just needed it for 3 little babies I have going. So much better than the little quantum board light I had. Now hopefully it lasts a long time and I'll be sure to update this if anything does happen. But so far I think I made the right choice! Love the bar style of the light and easily covers the entire 3 by 3 space. Could probably cover more if I needed it to and I love that I can run it at 60% to 75% and only be using 200 watts! This light is super bright so make sure to wear glasses and cant wait to add the uv and ir bars! I'll post my results at the end for everyone!10/01/23 So update: I am 2 days in and the device has completely stopped connecting to any wifi or blue tooth and I can no longer control the dimmer at all. So I can either use it at 10% or 100% which both are useless to me as I'm in veg! I hope mars has a solution and when I shut the light off in the app it is no longer shutting off. So I have no idea what is wrong with this. I have to manually unplug it to shut it off. The dimmer switch doesn't shut it off either anymore.UPDATE: Less than 1 month later the hardware failed and it no longer can be dimmed or connected to the app through blue tooth or wifi. I have gotten no help from mars with the issues which obviously are the hardware and am wondering why these are being sold for hundreds of dollars when they aren't worth anything close to that. I mean if the manual dimmer switch worked than it would be fine and I could still use it but the manual dimmer switch doesn't even work! Honestly I should have just saved up and bought the AC Infinity light but I thought mars was supposed to be a good brand but so far they suck! It was good for 30 days so now I'm suspicious. If I was someone looking for a new light, just save up and don't waste your money on these! If someone would have at least answered me and helped me fix the issue, I would have recommend the light cuz when it works it is nice but it has not worked almost at all and it supposed to be brand new and I just wish I had listened to the reviews. The hardware is complete junk!
